HOTO SNAPBLOQ™ R-A04 Mini Rotary Tool Kit, Brushless Engraving Pen

I bought this mainly for post processing my 3D prints and it's been exactly what I needed. The 22000 RPM is plenty of power for sanding down layer lines, drilling holes, and cleaning up support marks on PLA and PETG prints. The cordless design is clutch when I'm working on prints. No cord getting in the way or having to hunt for an outlet near my workbench. Battery life has been solid, I can usually finish several prints on a single charge. Size and weight are great for detail work. It's way more comfortable to hold for extended periods compared to my old full size rotary tool. The grip feels good and I have way more control when I'm trying to smooth out fine details without overdoing it. Came with a decent variety of bits which is nice. I've been using the sanding drums mostly for smoothing prints and they work really well. Haven't had any issues with the bits coming loose or wobbling. Speed control is smooth and consistent. I can dial it down for delicate stuff or crank it up when I need to remove material faster. No weird vibrations or loss of power even at lower speeds. Only thing is the battery takes a little while to charge but that's pretty standard. I just throw it on the charger after I'm done and it's ready next time. If you do any kind of finishing work on 3D prints this is 100% worth picking up. Makes the whole post processing workflow way faster and the results look cleaner.

i bought the cheapest rotary tool i could find and of course hated it. upgraded to this bad boy and i love it. the little chuck it has is great and easy to operate and the battery life and amount of power is awesome too. i use it for 3d prints and miniatures and i am very happy. the size is also great i dont have any issues gripping to use it.

Would LOVE to give it 5 STAR! Innovative, powerful, ergonomic, quiet, and FUN! Own several grinding, polishing tools, but nothing beats this one when it comes to ease of USE. ONLY ONE ISSUE there’s no spare heads as far as fitting other larger MM bits/mandrels. 2.35MM isn’t universal. Make sure you buy extra bits/heads in the correct MM.

I’m really impressed by this little unit. Just bought it, sort of on a whim of a need. I needed a few precision tools, but never really found a set that worked together. Stumbled on a three piece set of the Hoto Rotary, Drill and Screwdriver with the snapbloq and really loved the design. While the drill and screwdriver looked good (haven’t had a chance to really try them out yet ) I was really desiring a solid mini rotary to handle things like door latches and such. Well they arrived yesterday and today had a simple ask, swap the stair locks. Easy, simple screw. Well, that screw had other plans and absolutely seized itself and sheared the threads off instead. With an absolute arsenal of tools at my disposal from my workvan inventory and the homeowners extensive workshop, just not much that was able to get several threads deep in a 5/8” hole, and surgically remove the left in metal. It’s a powerful, but delicate rotary tool. Too much pressure and it bogs down. A light touch gets the speed ramping and a tiny bit more gives you a little more power. Instead of starting at max free spin speed, it starts modestly and as soon as you touch it to the surface it starts to build some speed. There is also a slide toggle to adjust the max speed. Even the included bit set had the exact one I needed, and while I was dubious that something that tiny could do much, it sure enough did in just a couple minutes. For context I spent much longer attempting to pick it out, and a wire brush on a drill and such to try and free it up. It felt great in hand, easy to work with. The only thing I wished, was that it had a light on the tip like its matching drill and screwdriver does. But, as the collet is about as big as the body, it really wouldn’t fit. I was quite skeptical of this unit, thinking I was gonna be asking a lot out of this style of craft type tool to use professionally, but it definitely made me look good, and get it done quickly. The form factor is great. I like the premium weight and feel. Overall very happy. I don’t often leave reviews, but I felt this one deserved one. 👍

Poor quality design. The dremel tool has some resistance when sliding in an out of the chamber. There’s no slots to secure/organize all of the bits and accessories, they just sit loosely in each section. The door covers where they are stored don’t have a hinge. It’s more like a creased fold that over time can weaken and snap/break apart. After removing and placing the dremel back into its storage chamber, after the second time, the speed adjustment knob popped off and shot across the floor. Took quite a considerable amount of force to re secure the button back onto the dremel. Even sliding the knob from left to right the speed doesn’t increase until roughly three quarters of the way through. Overall quality and design is a bit lackluster to justify the price point for this kit. Switched over to a similar product by Fanttik for the same cost range and the build qualities between the two are worlds apart.

Amazing product with even better customer support. I worked with Luna on my purchase and even though my warranty and any typical expectations for product support were long expired, Luna took my concerns seriously and provided an amazing resolution. Now something about the product. I have way more electric tools than I need but the Hoto screwdrivers and grinder are exceptional quality and work flawlessly. Highly recommend them.

This little HOTO SNAPBLOQ rotary tool is clutch for small detail work and quick fixes around the house and garage. It’s lightweight, easy to control, and the modular design makes it simple to swap bits for sanding, cutting, or grinding without dragging out a full-size rotary tool. For 3D print cleanup, small plastic parts, and tiny hardware jobs, it’s powerful enough to get it done while still feeling safe and handy to keep in a drawer or tool bag.

I've used this a few times so far to clean up my 3d prints. It's nice and light, yet feels sturdy and strong. It's been working well and I love all the attachements that came with it.

Nice tool in the hand. It has a nice balance, feels very 'controlled' to work with. Unfortunately, the hand piece I received had something wrong internally - made strange reving sounds and sped up by itself. I contacted Hoto and they were wonderful. Amazon issued a full refund - unfortunately - the return label was issued for Canada Post - which is on strike - so effectually - no return shipping! Hoto made it right and refunded the tool without a return. I was disappointed that my hand piece was defective. I loved how it felt in my hand - the tool boxes were lovely - lots of bits - and for travelling - the packaging to put it away, transport, and get it back out to use - is excellent.....I will order Hoto again.

Updated review The company sent me a complete replacement tool. I do like the compact design. It is meant for small light duty jobs. Anything longer than 10 minutes of use I feel like a more robust tool would be needed. I stand by my original comments about the design needing improvement. Customer service was great and handled my issues respectfully and very quickly. Im changed my review from one star 🌟 to 4 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟. ‐------------------------------------ Original review Poor design. Motor overheats due to lack of ventilation. Also the design of the lock to hold the bits in place is not great. Two smooth edges make it very difficult to loosen after use when you need to swap out bits. After prolonged use the bits will slowly slide out even though the lock is extremely tight. Could be a great tool with some minor changes.

Very powerful… works fantastic for my crafts, hold a charge for a long time, would definitely recommend
