I wanted a Phillips Senseo for ages and finally bought one and I am more than happy with my purchase. I knew it would be a 2 pin plug but it came with a British plug adapter which is brilliant. If you move the middle button to 2 cups and press the full cup button on the left, you will get a full mug and the coffee ☕️ is nice and hot and tastes absolutely wonderful. The machine doesn't take long at all to produce a full cup and it switches off as soon as it's done. Delivery was great too, the machine came 2 days after ordering.

Like the look of new model in white but this new one did not have the adjustable height to allow use of a decent size beaker. Means that have to use two smaller beakers and then transfer to coffee beaker. Not good.

I love the smart look and the fact that you have the option of a stronger cup by pressing twice. The problem is that it leaks. You have to be very careful as the coffee will go everywhere The first time it happened I checked as I thought I’d not replaced the parts correctly after cleaning but it’s happened many times since, to the point that I’m thinking of changing it . My last senseo machine didn’t do this and it seems maybe the new design may be at fault?

Had Senseo machines for years. Just wear them out. Quick and easy to use. No mess as with a cafetiere - hate cleaning these. Always looks smart and new. New model makes stronger coffee - great.

Nice coffee and easy to use

This was sold without a UK plug or an EU/UK conversion plug - this is in breach of UK legislation which states All domestic electrical appliances sold in the UK are required to have a BS1363 plug or conversion plug fitted. (With the exception of equipment designed for use with a BS 4573 shaver socket.) Online sellers often ignore the regulations and illegally supply equipment fitted with EU plugs. If an electrical appliance has an EU or other non-UK plug, it must be fitted with a conversion plug. The conversion plug must enclose the non-UK plug and it must be designed so that it can only be removed by using a tool. An adaptor is not a suitable replacement for a conversion plug. The supply of electrical goods in the UK is covered by statutory legislation under the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994. I bought this from a UK seller LSB Market fulfilled by Amazon thinking this seller would have the nounce to know to include a EU/UK conversion plug as the Senseo coffee machine comes in from Poland/Hungary/Germany - no mention of what the plug type was in his description. I would have thought fulfilled by Amazon for the UK would have insisted that a conversion adapter was included in order for product to be sold lawfully on Amazon in the UK BUT NO. You cannot contact this seller having to go through Amazon for queries, returns etc. I ended up having an unsatisfactory conversation with someone from India who did not understand what I was saying or asking. So beware you will have to pay out more to get an conversion adapter running at over £10 - this is such a shame because the Senseo coffee machine is brillant that is if you can get a plug/adapter to get it to work in the UK

The machine arrived without the coffee cups which rather took the gloss off my purchase. The box was not as shown but that is a minor detail. Delivery time was longer than estimated.

Meine letzte Senseomaschine hielt 10-15 Jahre (!), leider weiß ich es nicht mehr ganz genau. Unsere Neue zaubert nun noch einen aromatischeren Kaffee und hat zudem den Vorteil gegenüber der alten, dass man zwischen 4 verschiedenen Kaffeegrößen/stärken wählen kann. Und auch der Crema wird richtig schön cremig mit gut 1cm Schaum zubereitet-sie hält wirklich, was in der Beschreibung versprochen wird. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und da ich Kaffee in allen Variationen sehr liebe - mindestens 6 Tassen täglich -, hoffe ich nur, dass meine Neue von der Qualität ihrer Langlebigkeit genauso überzeugen wird wie meine Alte!:))

Lo pedi como usado / buen estado y llego como nuevo. Estoy encantada. Lo recomiendo y ademas es muy "chic" en blanco.

Un peu surprise par l emballage mais fonctionne très bien

Mijn originele Senseo uit 2001 was helemaal op dus werd het tijd voor een nieuwe. Deze HD6554 maakt een wat minder solide indruk dan die eerste generatie (hij voelt ook lichter) en hij lijkt iets trager, maar hij doet het prima en het mechanisme om de bovenkant te sluiten is beter. Ik heb er meteen een XL-reservoir bij gekocht (HD7982) zodat ik niet meer om de haverklap het water hoef aan te vullen. De functies van 'boost technologie' en 'intensiteits-selectie' vind ik maar gimmicks. Van de eerste merk je niet of nauwelijks iets en met de tweede produceert hij een kleiner (en daardoor sterker) bakkie. Tja, had van mij niet gehoeven. Desalniettemin blijft het een prima apparaatje dat, met de juiste pads, snel een heel aanvaardbare kop koffie produceert. Ik gebruik 'dark roast' pads van de huismerken DeBeste of Perla, waarmee ik een glazen beker vul (met de 2-kopjes toets, en dan het apparaat uitschakelen wanneer de beker bijna vol is).
