So many pple in the reviews pay little attention to details and did not read the directions. 1. Nick the dimple side of the seed.(not the nipple side) I used a file. 2. Within weeks, your seeds should sprout. 3. It won't be til following year that you'll get blooms. I set off to propagate 1x of each varianty.(10 total) Somewhere along the way, I missplaced a seed so I set 9. Two weeks in, 8 out of 9 sprouted. Last seed probably a dud as it is floating a bit. Excellent seeds!

Very Very disappointed with this purchase! I bought a variety pack of Lotus seeds and was excited to get them going in and around my home. Out of over a hundred seeds, 4 germinated. I followed their directions to the letter. Filtered water, changing at the frequency recommended etc. Once the 4 seeds germinated they looked good for a few days and then died as well. I did not get one single lotus flower out of this purchase. The Sadness is strong with this one.

I was a bit worried with all the 1 star review but the seeds are great. Using filtered water and changing it daily while keeping them in warm water by using a heat bad with a bright heat/grow light from above seems to do the trick. And giving them more then enough time before transferring them to a dirt or new home.

I got all of them to split open and sprout. However very hard to get them to "grow". I never got them big enough to produce flowers.

Seeds arrived as described and separated into the 10 different colors. However, the "pre-scarification" could only be visualized on a few of the seeds (6/200 noted to have a defect in the shell). I followed all the growing recommendations in regards to water depth, water temperature, water changes, and exposure to at least 6 hrs. of sun / day. Today is day 13 and only 4 seeds have developed any evidence of germination. Those 4 were 4/6 that had pre-scarification apparent. Very disappointed and a total waste of money

I followed instructions. Soaked for 2 weeks. No sprouts. Did some research. The seeds need to be scored on 1 end for them to sprout. After scoring them they started sprouting in 2 days. They need to be more specific with the instructions.

A lot of the seeds are damage, and the don't come ready to germinate you have the make the small opening your self I used a drill and still I have thrown away more than half of the seeds. I was very disappointed.
