It pairs effortlessly with standard belt blanks and strap materials, giving you the freedom to design without limits. This is the kind of hardware that elevates your work without demanding attention, enhancing every detail while keeping the overall look sharp and intentional. When you want your leathercraft to feel modern, wearable, and confidently put together, the Napa Buckle delivers a refined finish that speaks for itself every time it is worn.

Review: Bought 8/20, broke 2/22. Really lousy for a heavy buckle that falsely appeared to be durable. - 2/18/22 Update: I bought in August of 2020. It appears to be very strong, but it has already broken. Years ago when I bought l bought belts, they lasted for many years, especially any belts I owned which were wide and had a heavy buckle, such as this. I guess inferior metal is used these days. Price was cheap, so I didn't knock it to one star, because I got over a year for cheap, but I'd rather pay a little more for many years of use! 8/24/2020 I'm rewriting my review. I was very disappointed because I couldn't put it in my belt which had it's original sown-in belt buckle break. I expected a piece that would go through one side of the buckle, then through the belt, and screw in the other side of the buckle. But upon intensive searching on desertcart, I couldn't find anything of that nature. I felt like rating it a 1, because it gave no indication that this could not be done. But since I could find none that do this, I suppose it's just what would be expected. I expected to be able to put it in my sown belt (as opposed to snaps to hold the buckle in), but cannot. Now I've found a work-around: desertcart "Tandy Leather Screw Post Open Back 1/8" (0,3 cm) Black Plate 10/pk 1296-04" is around $7, and solves this problem. Just ordered them. I can cut the threads out, then use these fasteners, and it should work just fine. (Others have done the same, as I found out in various fastener reviews.) Since there is a solution, and I've looked at many other buckles, this one seems as good as any, better than most, and a much better price than most. As such it deserves 5 stars. (Originally I was going to rate it much lower, since it seemed unusable to me, and I expected it to be used on my kind of belt.) I have another identical belt (different color) that needs to be fixed, and for the same reason. That "Screw Post Open Back..." is a 10-pack, so it's enough to fix both belts with plenty left over, so my belt other belt can be fixed for the outstanding price of this buckle alone.
Review: 5 out of 5 stars Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value. - I purchase several things on desertcart and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I like this and how it looks.
*by A***R on April 25, 2025*

I made a belt from my old cinch strap of my saddle. The first buckle I got was a crap one from a thrift store belt that broke within 2 weeks, so I headed to Amazon for help! My experience with Tandy leather has been good in the past and I REALLY liked the look of this buckle, so I purchased it. It goes well with the leather strap from the saddle although it was just a tad too narrow, but that isn't an issue. I have noticed that as I wear my belt more, there seems to be a slight transfer of the buckle covering (not sure what to call it) , on to my belt. Otherwise, I am very happy so far with this. It's held up well. I have had people comment on how nice the belt looks and that something like that with the kind of leather would cost a fortune. I just improvised on an idea and made a belt that appealed to me from scrap and an affordable buckle. Glad to know it looks swanky and expensive!! Lol
