Our family owns hundreds of board games. We got this for our Sonic-obsessed nine year old, not expecting much of it, but it's genuinely a great game. The mechanics perfectly capture the antics of this genre of racing game, and there's a great mix of skill and luck. Finding an accidental infinite loop combo combo made the adults' evening! (It is game-breaking, so you have to house rule ending the loop somehow.) This is well worth the purchase for Sonic fans and gaming families.

Yes, I’m a fan of Sonic and wanted to try out this game. The paint job on my Knuckles figure face wasn’t that great. The rules aren’t hard or difficult. I did have read the Item rules again because the player reference tile says drawing an item is free and the rule book says it cost an action. I used a Kirby drawstring bag for the item tokens so no that didn’t come with the game. I also thought I was going to get a comic and pin but didn’t. Maybe it’s a Kickstarter exclusive game? I didn’t check. I like that the game is strategic on how to to get ahead and best utilize your items to your advantage. Fast fun game, you might have to house rule the draw and when to draw item rule and just say it does cost an action. Worth a buy!

This was fun to play. Price isn’t bad. It was hard for the 5 year old to play but the 8 and 10 year old enjoyed it.

This won't be the most fun you've ever pulled out of a box, but it's pretty enjoyable. It captures a good balance of simplicity and challenge; there is some strategy to it, but also a fair bit of luck. The rules are fairly clear, especially if you're already familiar with the Sonic games and what the different items and characters do. That said, situations do arise that the rules aren't clear about (which move takes priorities? What if you get stuck between a "bounce back two" spring space and a "move forward two" zone space? But it's not like you can't just make something up at that point. It's designed for two to four players; it's more fun with more players. That said, whoever starts first gets a disproportionate advantage, so give that position to little kids, or be aware that person has a real advantage. Average game takes somewhere between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on how fast you play. The "board" is composed of tile pieces that build on one another, so you'll probably want a lot of room to play, at least half the kitchen table or a good chunk of floor (with no dog or other kids who will knock the board awry). There are a lot of little game pieces like tiles and items, so it can be a lot to keep track of. We ended up using a lot of small ziploc bags to store them. The character game pieces themselves are rather flimsy. Be gentle! If you slam the pieces down, they will break, especially on the stick-thin legs and arms. Ours made it maybe two games, and now we use other action figures. Still, it's a fun game we do a few times a month. Great if you enjoy Sonic, so-so if you don't. As long as you're okay with dealing with some less-than-perfections here and there, and you can be gentle or have spare pieces, you could do worse things with an evening. You decide if it's worth the cost.

Bought this for my friends son's birthday. He is a huge sonic fan and absolutely loves this game!

Game is overly complicated. Bought it for my kid not realizing its essentially an adults game. They became bored quickly due to the complicated nature of the game.

Excelente juego de mesa de Sonic The Hedgehog: Crash Course. Muy recomendable leer el manual de instrucciones ya que es la versión más reciente. Sus mecánicas de juego son divertidas e ingeniosas. No incluye el cómic ni pin coleccionable como se muestra en la publicación de Amazon.

Esta muy bonito pero en el transporte solo estaba en la clásica bolita estaba algo golpeada la caja y esto era para una coleccionista de sonic
