SupcoSM1027N Replacement Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor Replaces 4681JB1027N, 1579962, 4681JK1004A, 3523326

I have a freezer that stoped working and we lost some food. In troubleshooting the problem I discovered that the cold air distribution motor was not working. I researched and found this replacement. I installed it and the freezer works fine!

Usually not what you need off Amazon but was in a bind customer needed fridge fixed only one I could find at the time. Got it 3 days later and her fridge is still going good 8 months down the road

I did not know the model # of my LG fridge because the letters had worn off the label inside. My fridge began making a very loud noise that i ignored for maybe two months until it stopped working altogether. Freezer still worked fine. I watched a youtube video on this and found it could be the fan motor and or fan blades obstructed. Took the freezer apart to reveal the inside and sure enough there was ice obstructing the fan which broke off all fan blades and probably stressed the motor and broke. I installed this new motor and fan blade and my fridge is working fine. I saw some complaints about the connector not snapping in correctly, but in my case for the LG fridge it fit fine. Just pay attention to the old motor connector and see if the middle piece is a bit longer than the other two, or if they are all even. I see some other motors that have all three pieces of the connector are the same length, mine was not like that, so pay attention to the way your plastic connector piece looks. Also, the wires were long enough to connect. same length as the old ones

This part fits perfectly. And the quite afterwards was wonderful after 3 days of loud noise! Remember to remove the rubber spacer from the back of the old motor and put on this replacement motor. The picture is of the freezer completely disassembled. The plastic object in the center of the pic is the housing the fan motor sits in.I would have given 5 stars but the wiring harness is about 6 inches shorter than the original. It was workable but instead of being able to put the back of freezer plastic panel in and then hooking up the wiring through the small access panel, I had to reach behind the plastic panel and connect before fitting the back of freezer plastic panel into place. Considering the price, I cant really complain, however I would have paid 2 cents more for the additional cost of the longer wires if given the option.

Works great. When I have to maintain the freezer again, it will be hard to disconnect. But, it's working great!

I checked and double checked that this part is a proper replacement for the evaporator fan in my LG French Door refrigerator. Although this part works as installed, it has a serious flaw. It does not seat itself properly inside the housing due to a small circular ridge in the bottom of the housing and a rather thin layer of the original plastic damper at top. As a result, the part makes a noticeable humming noise as it wobbles inside the housing. I fixed this problem by hacking a layer of soft damping material at top and bottom of the motor unit. A true exact replacement shouldn't have such an issue. I do not recommend it for a DIY endeavor.

Would have given a 5 but the wires were definitly shorter than the original motor. I was still able to install with a little maneuvering but another 4-6 inches of wire would have made it easier

Fitment of the motor was perfect a little difficult to get access to it but that’s not the motors fault that’s the manufacture of the refrigerators fault

Replaced EAU60694520 with this motor. Repaired my refrigerator - feel like superwoman.
