## Description

## Features

- HEAR ABOUT TROUBLE IN TIME TO ACT - A freezer almost always fails when no one is watching, and by the time you open the door the food is already gone, so NS1 sends an instant app and email alert the moment the temperature starts to climb and keeps warning you even when the power cuts out or the WiFi drops, letting you step in before a full freezer is lost.
- THE NUMBER, EVEN IN A DEEP FREEZE - A reading you can't trust is worse than none, so NS1 holds ±0.9°F accuracy across a wide -40°F to 257°F range and stays dependable even at deep-freeze temperatures, letting you set your alarm with confidence instead of guessing whether the food is really safe.
- A SENSOR THAT WON'T HOLD YOUR DOOR OPEN - A thick sensor cable props the door open just enough to leak cold, build frost and wear out the seal, so NS1 runs a 4.9 ft ultra-thin flat probe that slips right through the fridge or freezer gasket and lets the door close tight as before, with placement tips included for large freezers where the temperature layers from top to bottom.
- Power Outage & Offline Alerts - Know When Monitoring Is Interrupted: If a power outage lasts more than 25 minutes, NS1 wifi thermometer sends App and email alerts with the exact time power went out. Once power is restored, an instant notification lets you know right away. If WiFi drops or the system goes offline, NS1 also sends an alert so you can respond sooner and protect spaces where temperature matters — from refrigerators and freezers to reptile enclosures, incubators, greenhouses, and wine cellars
- SEE THAT IT'S FINE AT A GLANCE, PHONE OR NO PHONE - You shouldn't have to dig out your phone to check a freezer you pass every day, or go blind the moment the WiFi drops, so NS1 shows the temperature right on its backlit screen, lets you check it remotely in the app, and keeps displaying the reading locally even when the connection is down, flashing red whenever it goes out of range.
- NO EXTRA BOX TO BUY OR KEEP ALIVE - Many smart freezer monitors make you buy a separate hub and keep it powered and online, which is one more cost and one more thing that can fail, so NS1 connects straight to your 2.4GHz home WiFi with no hub or gateway at all - just plug it in, pair it in the app, and place it within reach of your router to stay online.
- EVERYTHING FREE, WITH NOTHING TO RECHARGE - Some monitors hide your history behind a monthly fee, and battery units go dark right when you need them, so NS1 stores up to 2 years of temperature history you can export to CSV any time at no cost and runs on continuous USB power so it never quits on a dead battery, as long as an outlet is within reach.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is it difficult to set up and pair the wifi thermometer?**
A: Not at all! Just plug it in, open the app, and follow the on-screen steps. Pairing usually takes less than 2 minutes. If pairing fails, check WiFi stability, keep wifi temperature sensor close to the router during setup, and try again.

**Q: Why do I sometimes see a sudden high temperature reading?**
A: This can happen during your fridge/freezer’s auto-defrost cycle, which briefly raises the temperature. The spike is normal, short-lived, and does not mean your wifi freezer thermometeris failing.

**Q: Will these brief spikes trigger alerts?**
A: Yes, but they are temporary. You can check the trend graph in the app to confirm whether the spike was due to auto-defrost or an actual temperature issue.

**Q: Does this WiFi refrigerator thermometer have a battery?**
A: No, this WiFi temperature sensor requires continuous power via a plug-in connection and does not include a built-in battery
