Great way to hide an outside key!
I'll tell you what, this is a great deal! I thought I was buying one, but received two! It looks very much like a piece of granite and unless you knew where it was and were looking for it, you wouldn't find it! A burglar would never just stumble upon it.My only complaint is the seal on the bottom. If you didn't seal it with silicone or something else, in a few years the key compartment would be full of dirt. Easy to fix with some silicon, however!

Needs a more secure cover...
The "rock" will do the job. Would have given it 5 stars if the enclosure on the bottom SNAPPED close instead of just slipping into place. To me, and I might be wrong, the key area doesn't seem secure. I worry that when placed outside, weathering might make the hidey hole lid looser and, thus, insecure. I put a piece of duct tape over the flap to, hopefully, keep it in place over time.

Looks like a fake rock
Wrapped in a small, plastic bag, the key fits fine. The bottom cover is a bit loose, so I secured it with electrical tape. Placed among the hundreds of rip-rap stones for our driveway, gardens, etc., it doesn't look quite real to me. Maybe it will become more convincing and not seem to stand out as it ages.

Gets the job done, but you can find the same one for half the price
Pretty disappointed. I bought this rock for $8 & another (JMK Hide a key Rock for $4.45) they look exactly the same, only difference is this one was double the price! Also, I was hoping it was a full rock, but it is flat on the bottom. If it were kicked over, it's true purpose would be revealed. The rock itself is gray in color & could pass as a real rock, from a distance? Gets the job done, but you can do better for half the price.

Looks like a regular rock
It just arrived so I haven't had a chance to let it sit outside for any length of time. I like it, but the plastic piece on the bottom is flimsy so I am not sure if the dirt will eventually wiggle in and I was under the impression that I'd ordered a set but only one was sent.

Does the job
rock looks good but the bottom isn't as snuggly fit as I would have liked. It sometimes drops out when you lift the rock.....but not a huge deal because if you are lifting the rock chances are you are trying to get to the key anyway!

... not as secure a fit as I would have liked, but I partially buried the "rock" and it ...
The backing that secures the key(s) is not as secure a fit as I would have liked, but I partially buried the "rock" and it is good enough. It does look like one of the rocks in my yard so is great in that regard.

Not Fake Enough
I ordered the "Hide a Spare Fake Rock" and this one at the same time. Both were identical, they even had the same bar code. But this rock cost more. Why? Both rocks stands out and would be obvious that they are fake. I can't find any real rocks in my area to match them. Therefore I need to order a dozen more or find a more realistic looking one.
