KONG Wubba Friends Ballistic Dog Toy - Durable Interactive Squeaky Toy, Assorted Colors/Animals, Fetch & Tug-of-War (Small)

I’ve bought many of these wubbas, not because they get destroyed but because we lose them eventually. We live by a lake and my dog absolutely loves to swim and this toy floats and the shape makes it very easy to fling out far so I don’t have to throw it as often! Haha and this one in particular is a nice bright orange which I think will help with not losing it as easily. Past ones I have bought were dark blue or purple which is harder to see in the water. I always rebuy them though because they have worked so well for us and my English lab absolutely loves it! They are great for land or sea! Great tug of war toy and holds up very well compared to any other toys I’ve purchased. I had the sowing come loose on the last one i purchased recently but we’ve had it at least a year and even lost it in the lake for a while and found it some time later and still use it! It is still usable even with some of the sowing coming undone. They don’t last forever but what can with 130 lb dog who loves to play rough! He destroys every other toy in literally seconds! I highly recommend these for playing in water and in the house!

We have a 1 year old dog and she is a very aggressive chewer who loves to tug and fetch. We received the toy 8 days ago and it isn't destroyed yet. She chewed an ear off the toy in the first day and I took it from her for a while when she started aggressively pulling on the band around the neck. We gave it back to her the next day. She loves this toy. It is her go-to for tug and fetch right now. The picture below is after 8 days with my aggressive chewer.

This Wubba did not survive long. There was another Wubba that managed to do very well, this one however didn't last a day. It starts as tug match followed by a small hole where the stuffing in the head comes out and then it turns to a shredding match. The material isn't very durable, and a high price to pay for a few hours of entertainment. This is not tug friendly. It is a cute toy for non aggressive chewers or tuggers.

Expected the rabbit but got the lion. No big deal My doggie don't know the difference. Lol. It still only lasts a day before he rips the balls right out of it and the stuffing.

The KONG Wubba Ballistic Friends Dog Toy caught my eye as a potentially durable and entertaining toy for my German Shepherd. Initially, it was a hit—my dog absolutely loved the shape and the squeaking sound that kept going no matter how hard he played. However, the joy was short-lived. Despite being an X-Large size and from a brand known for durability, the toy only lasted about a week with my GSD. He quickly turned it into a mission to disassemble it, successfully chewing off the legs and eventually the head, exposing the stuffing inside. Impressively, the squeaker survived the onslaught and continued to function! While this toy provided a good deal of fun and excitement initially, it’s not built to withstand the determined efforts of heavy chewers like my dog. It might be better suited for dogs who are less intense about their toys. If you have a dog that loves to chew and tear, this might not be the most economical choice for lasting entertainment.

I love these toys and so does my German Shepherd. He can go through a stuffed toy in one afternoon…tearing and shaking all of the stuffing out. These toys last and last. He’s now had the first for several months and has not been able to get through the outer fabric. Hence, the squeaker is intact, and no stuffing or shredded fabric is laying around. He is still very interested in the toy (currently have 3). This is by far the best toy we’ve discovered and is definitely worth the price.

I have a 2-yr-old Beagle. This is her 3rd KONG Wubba. She loves these things! I can't believe it. When this one arrived via Fed Ex today, her excitement was palpable. She ran around the house with it, squeaking it wildly. She ran to the back door with it. I let her go outside with it. She fetched it for me (she just chews up Frisbees and ignores or immediately destroys most other toys) and then dragged it to one of her Special Places under some steps. Well, she got it really dirty &, since it's actually going to be an indoor toy, I washed it by hand and set it in the sun to dry. She spent hours, whining at the front door, anxious to play with it again. When it was sufficiently dry, I brought it in and Sadie went nuts all over again. This is a sturdy toy that even a heavy chewer will make last for months,

My dog absolutely loves this toys. He carries these Kong friends around and I find them to be really high quality and almost indestructible.

I bought this in March and since then it's been out in all weathers, it's been carried, thrown, shaken and chewed on a daily basis, some of the stuffing has been removed by crows pecking at it and it's undergone emergency repairs. It still has its squeak and my dog loves it though maybe it's about time it was retired. My dog is mostly collie and though he gives a toy a good workout, he's not a toy destroyer and considering this toy is usually left out in the garden, it's lasted pretty well. I would say that it's not quite as tough as the Kong Wubba which is basically the same toy but without the animal design, personally I love the cute animal faces, but I get the feeling my dog doesn't really care about these details. The weak point seems to be the 'neck' so if your dog is a ferocious shaker that's where it's going to come adrift first. To sum up, I would say that it's reasonably robust and weatherproof, the squeak lasts a long time but needs strong jaws to squeak it, it's heavy enough to be easily thrown. It's a shame you can't choose the colour, I've had the pink one (lost in a river) and the orange one (the subject of this review) and both were bright enough to find in the long grass. I haven't found any other outdoor toys that last as long as the wubbas and will definitely buy it again. I would recommend it for dogs that don't have a mission to kill off their toys as soon as they get them.

This is my dog's favourite toy right now! It's so fun for him. He is teething and he can chew on this and it's not getting destroyed. We play tug of war and chase. He has so much fun!

Mon chien n'aime pas trop les jouets et se lasse très vite, mais aujourd'hui ce jouet est devenu son Doudou. Sa solidité est remarquable, je lui ai juste recousu une oreille mais franchement pour ce qu'il subit au quotidien ce n'est rien. Mon chien ne le quitte pas et le sort même avec lui pour aller faire pipi. ^^
