Easy to Install and Works Great!
I’m very happy with this magnetic screen door. It fits my doorway well, was easy to install, and lets in plenty of fresh air while keeping bugs out. The magnetic closure works smoothly and makes it easy to walk through without using your hands. I also like that it’s lightweight but feels durable. A great option for enjoying fresh air without worrying about insects.

Does the Job and Easy to Install
I purchased this screen for the 36" side door of my garage. It goes along with the larger model, from a different manufacturer, which I installed on the main garage door. My garage was converted to a home gym years ago and during the summer months the flies can get pretty bad. After trying everything to keep the numbers down and make it tolerable I finally decided to screen the doors, not even knowing there were screens like these available. This one installed in just minutes. Unlike the main door the frame on the side door is made of aluminum so the stick on the Velcro tape is all that is holding it in place. Where as I was able to add a few staples to keep the Velcro attached on the main door which has a wooden frame. But so far it seems to be holding tight and it gets opened and closed 10+ times a day. I did clean the frame real well with mineral spirits and a wire brush to help the tape adhere better. It seems to be solidly attached so only time and a cold Michigan winter will determine if it stays put. I will likely take the screen down in the winter once it is no longer needed and plan to take care when separating the Velcro just to be on the safe side. Like the larger model it opens by just pushing through it and pretty much seals shut like a zipper once you pass through. If not a slight push with one hand will usually get the job done. It does have a small tab you can grab to open it from the outside which I wish the larger model had too. Since the threshold is raised and not very deep, the bottom of the screen does not seal tight but leaves about and inch or so gap. But so far it does not seem the flies have caught on there is a slight gap. Plus the gap allows my dog to get her nose in so she can go in an out on her own. The fabric is very flexible but strong so I suspect it will last a few years at least and given the price point having to replace it every few years would not be a huge deal. It came with a pretty decent patch kit too which was a nice bonus. That is as long as I can remember where I put it when the time comes. Overall I am very pleased with this screen and together with the larger model I now have a bug free gym and place to meditate in peace at night without mosquitoes. I can definitely recommend this screen for a similar application. Update May 18, 2022 Just ordered my second one of these screens for the same door. So the life span is about two years - for me anyway. I took it down during the winter months but it was up for at least 8 months of the year and the door faces south so it gets sun almost all day. I probably could have gotten another year of out of the original once, but it was getting pretty word and somewhat dry from the sun damage. Considering the heavy use and weather conditions I am more than happy with the value I got for my $20 and can recommend this screen without hesitation.

Perfect, inexpensive screen for our needs!
5 stars for value, function and ease of installation. 4 stars overall. This is the third time I've purchased this screen for our townhome's back door. If your screen faces the south, or any significant sun exposure, plan on replacing the screen approximately every 2-3 years. The UVs degrade the screen and the seams that hold the magnets to the point that the screen develops tears and some magnets fall out. Not a big issue, considering the low cost.

Keeps fresh air in and pests out. Easy to install!! EASY!!
HOT SUMMER DAYS IN LA NEED THESE SCREENS!! Allows fresh air and breezes to cool home while preventing flies and mosquitoes from coming in. Easily installed with Velcro and push pins for extra stability- while allowing our beautiful view to be seen through. It is very stable and suitable for many door applications while maintaining stability. The magnetic strips and door closure are very reliable and strong providing stability and security.

Voila, no more mosquitoes or gnats; they have no way to get in anymore.
I recently moved into an apartment with two large 72" x 96" doors leading to the patio. We really love the doors because they let in plenty of sunlight and the cool sea breeze in the afternoon. However, as soon as we started opening them, mosquitoes, gnats, and other insects began having a field day inside the apartment, especially the gnats, which would attack us while we watched TV; it felt like they were carrying syringes to draw our blood. We decided enough was enough; we needed a solution to stop the insects. I started looking and fortunately found this MAGZO magnetic screen door (72" x 96", gray mesh, hands-free). First, I ordered a pair to see if it would actually stop the swarm of insects. It arrived the next day. After watching videos and carefully reading the instructions, I installed it. At first, it seemed like the bottom wasn't closing completely, but I made a few small adjustments and got it right. After installing it, I learned two important tips: 1. At the top, cut the Velcro in half and peel back just a bit of the adhesive backing. I positioned the Velcro slightly higher than the ends and attached it to the door frame gradually, peeling and sticking as I went. 2. Don't fully secure the Velcro right away; this allows you to make adjustments at the bottom and elsewhere to get the perfect fit so it closes completely. These two details can make all the difference: when entering and exiting, the mesh closes fully, leaving no gaps for annoying mosquitoes to get in. Looking at the construction material, I can say it is high-quality, strong, and durable; the design is wind-resistant. The Velcro sticks firmly to the entire door frame without leaving any gaps; the mesh is tough, and I like the gray color because it lets in more light. Installation isn't complicated; no tools are required. It is recommended to thoroughly clean the door frame where the Velcro will be attached to ensure a strong bond; for the finishing touch, once you have verified that the installation is perfect, secure it with the thumbtacks for extra hold and press around the edges to lock it in place. And voila: no more mosquitoes or gnats- they have no way to get in. Note: After finishing and seeing that the screen worked exactly as intended, I immediately bought another one for the other door.

Research how to apply to door frame/prep surface of frame
After reading the reviews, both good and bad...I bought this magnetic screen door. Using some soap and water, I cleaned the surface of the metal to attach the adhesive backed Velcro. After it dried well, the next day, I used rubbing alcohol and cotton balls to clean and remove any residual fingerprints, oil etc. I researched how to install and found out a slight rise in the center top of the screen as you apply to the top of the door frame creates the perfect pitch to snap those magnets together. So as you look at the door frame, measure the top area you have to apply the screen Velcro to attach. Apply the center first about 1/4”-1/2” higher than the rest of the top line sloping ever so gently toward the outside edge of the top. Place your Velcro along the sides straight down on both sides. The screen has the Velcro securely sewn on with neatly covered edges. Apply the screen first in the center of the top frame. Secure by pressing firmly. Then apply the sides pressing firmly all the way down. I have used this screen door for my 8’ Anderson slider and it works better than the actual slider screen door. I have three very large GSDs who love the outdoors and chasing off squirrels. When the slider is open, if a squirrel or chipmunk appear on my deck, the 78# female and 85# and 107# males run full speed through that magnetic screen door and it snaps shut right behind them. On rare occasion, one flap hangs up on the electrical box beside the left portion of my door but honestly, this is one strong well made screen door. I love it and doing the research was worth all the effort. If this door is positioned correctly with a tiny pitch in the very center top, this is an absolute winner!!!! I will never have a sliding screen door again with my big dogs. UPDATE 04/16/2024 After 4 years of having this screen up on my slider, an essential for having two large GSDs in northern Michigan, I finally had to replace the screen. I should add we have very cold winters with very low temperatures and gale force winds. Normally I take the screen down in winter but I decided to give an honest review, I should leave it up year round. I expected good results but truly nothing like I got. After 4 full years of hanging on my Anderson Metal frame slider doorway, I finally got a crack in the center of one side and because mosquitos up here along the Great Lakes are really the state bird, it had to be replaced. I searched my Amazon orders and was extremely shocked to find the date of May 2020 as date of installation. I knew it would be good but 4 years??? The winters are very harsh here and I have to restrain my deck yearly and everything has to be renewed. Rubbing Alcohol is perfect for degreasing the surface for best adhesion of the Velcro. Replacing the magnetic screen door was so easy. I really didn’t have to replace the Velcro but I got new with the replacement door and I put it up exactly the same way as first. I sloped the sides down slightly from the center each way. I put the Velcro directly over some of the glue that I couldn’t get off the frame and it was still very VERY sticky. The dogs are so happy to have their old friend, the magnetic screen door from MAGZO back. They have made many trips in and out (testing the replacement door) even though it’s not warm enough outside to have the heat off in the house atm. I sure hope everyone else has as wonderful experience as we have with this product. It IS the only magnetic screen door I will use for my dogs comfort and long lasting quality. Thank you MAGZO.

incredible!
What an amazing product - compared to what I've seen in the past - I'd give it 6 stars if I could, not only because it works great but because my dogs love it!! :-) My friend has a great backyard that my dogs love to play in when we come for extended visits - but he wasn't too happy about the flies coming in his house when I left the door open for them - and, like some dogs, they would want to come in, then go back out, 'all day long'. :-) So I bought him this 'screen door'. The quality is excellent - does not feel too thin or easily torn and it looks really nice. Install was straight forward if you follow the instructions. It took under an hour to install - especially when you have 'two' bosses on the job. :-) I was very impressed with how well the magnets work on this screen - sometimes it takes a moment or two to connect but it always connects, nice and snugly. We did find that although we had to order the longer length than the actual door size, we felt we could do as others suggested and install it a bit higher if it was too long. But such was not the case - which I thought was odd. It fit perfectly top to bottom - although, on occasion, there is a small gap at the bottom (see photo) - in other words, it's probably best to order longer if available for your door size. That did not seem to be an issue, however - as no flies tried to get in from the bottom and most of the time there was no gap. The other problem to consider, in my friend's application, is his door is metal. That means you have to consciously flip the door screen behind you when entering otherwise sometimes it will 'attach' to the door instead of itself if you have a metal door. I was also concerned it may look tacky leaving it up all year long - but it actually looks quite nice and will be great for him when he wants to just leave the door open for natural breezes. But the best part about this screen is it is dog-friendly! My two great danes are very boundary conscious - they will never try to jump a small gate or even a low decorative edging around a flower bed. I feared they would see this screen as a barrier and would not even try to go through it. If you put a small chair in front of something - even if there is a gap to go around, they won't. I knew I would have to train them to accept this screen - and that I did need to do. It took about 20 minutes for success: letting them see me walk in and out several times, then luring them with just my hand through the opening, with a treat - trying to entice their noses through; then a little more - more treats for each small step forward - until they did it on their own. Once they overcame their 'fears' they were so proud of themselves and used it regularly like it wasn't even there.

2018 version was great. Then they screwed up the 2019
The GOOD: I first used this product last year (2018 ), after trying another brand previously. I will say that the 2018 version was great and superior in many ways than the first brand I tried. In fact, they worked so well that I ended up ordering 4 additional Magzo screens and placing them around the house. We have a bunch of dogs and these screens held up really well considering the amount of abuse they took. If placed correctly they will close perfectly almost every time. The BAD: this year (2019) I went to order some new ones ( the dogs eventually won but in all honesty for under 30 bucks it did great). I would replace them every year if needed, as replacement SHOULD be really easy. So I went on and repurchased the same exact screen (I thought ) as previously. However, When I received the new screens I quickly discovered they were was 2 inches bigger than its measurement width said it would be. Going back on and Reading their description it actually does say this will be the case ( however they are still using pictures from last years product which show it should be the size listed) . Which makes things confusing again. After Reading the description it says that this will allow it to cover various size doors which I'm assuming is why they made this change... however, my person experience after using a few of these, tells me that this change will actually make these screens inferior to previous and a worse product. One great thing about Magzo screens was that they offered so many different sizes. However, now To make matters worse, when looking at the options and compensating for their new real sizes. I can’t even find a size now that will work the way I had them set up previously. Nor can I find a size that will work (the way I know they work best) with the sizes they currently have. It was much easier previously as the size listed was what you go but now Magzo changes have made things very confusing. Personally, I found that the trick to making them work really well, is making sure that you get a size that makes sure they lay level and flat. Most door frames have multiple levels of trim around them. I found that as long as you pick one that creates a uniform level surface for the screen it will work well. In fact, if You read this Magzo... you should just get rid of the actual “door” measurements all together in your explanation, as the actual door size doesn't matter at all, when it comes to these screens working well.. The only thing that people really need to measure is the actual door Frame or surrounding door trim, to use these screens. (as my picture shows. Trying to use the door size just confuses things. Magzo... do yourself a favor and go back to last years sizes and descriptions as they were superior. Last year I raved to friends about your product as it was so simple to use well designed as you could find the right size easily. Unfortunately right now ... I can’t even find one to reorder. If you considering this product and can find a size that will fit on your "door frame" with a good fit.. .then this product will work great for you. But right now, I have to down grade to 3 stars as their recent changes make it that I can no longer use them until they fix this. Will update if they change this down the road. ** Note it says I purchased a 38x99 size and my pictures show 36x96. I did not make a mistake in my ordering as most my doors are actually needing the 36x96 and I have one door that needed the larger size of 38x99. I just happened to make my review on that order. I will provide some pictures to better illustrate what I’m talking about.

I love it
Excellent item and very useful. But it didn’t stick to the wall so I used a drill and screws to fix it.

this one stays up!
In previous years i would use Magic Mesh, but it never stayed up very well, no matter how hard the velcro strips were placed on the metal. Having mobility issues now I needed something that would adher better, and so far this one has been great. It's only been1 month so far, but the other would only last a week or 2 so it is already working better for me. It was longer than needed but I just trimmed it down and so far so good.

Excellent quality
Despite the excellent quality and fit of this flyscreen (best that I have seen through my research), I was unable to use this product since an alternate solution was provided by my property manager. I requested to return the product for refund and was refunded immediately. Great and prompt customer service. A++ all around for both the product and store. Thank you.
