We picked it up from the post office on the way to the hardware store. This toy allowed us to get our shopping done without having to deal with a screaming toddler that doesn't like to go shopping. For that alone it is worth it. There are 2 volume settings on this toy. Maybe it was just quiet in the store that day, but I felt like the lower of the two volumes was still pretty loud. My son really liles the "V" key. He tends to push that one button repeatedly for what seems like hours on end. I will probably be dreaming about the letter V tonight. I can't really comment on the durability because I haven't had it for very long. It seems pretty well made though. All in all it's a great toy and very educational.
