Review: Why do they always make the base plastic - Why do they always make the base plastic? EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE COOLERS. this is my third one in a year why because if you set these at an angle and pick it up they break, yeah we are looking at maybe an extra 8 to 12 ounces for a solid metal stand but it would break it might bend but it would break. The top is perfect and it does cool could you just make a SOLID METAL ONE I WOULD PAY MORE! The cooling is top notch it does a great job cooling it is just not sturdy ## Features - Led light laptop notebook cooling pad with six fan - Support 17- in notebook under - Unique non- slip design to ensure safety - 5 adjustable levels; comfortable elevation for notebook radiator - Using the six fan cooling; comprehensive transfer speed button can control the size of air volume ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07BH5LTNX | | Best Sellers Rank | #73,815 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) #332 in Laptop Cooling Pads | | Brand | XtremPro | | Color | green | | Cooling Method | Air | | Customer Reviews | 3.6 out of 5 stars 52 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | Metal | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 15.35"L x 9.65"W x 1.18"H | | Item Weight | 2.2 pounds | | Manufacturer | Xtrempro | | Material | Metal | | Mfr Part Number | XtremPro 11147 | | Model Number | XtremPro 11147 | | Number of Fans | 6 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 15.35"L x 9.65"W x 1.18"H | | Unit Count | 6 Count | | Warranty Description | Limited Warranty | ## Images ![Portable Metal Mesh Laptop Cooler Cooling Pad, 6 Quiet Fans w/Green LED Light, 5 Adjustable Heights, Up to 17" in Notebook, 2 USB Interface w/Speed Control Switch, Non-Slip - Black (11147) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71HkibYpAiL.jpg) ![Portable Metal Mesh Laptop Cooler Cooling Pad, 6 Quiet Fans w/Green LED Light, 5 Adjustable Heights, Up to 17" in Notebook, 2 USB Interface w/Speed Control Switch, Non-Slip - Black (11147) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81n1ETMHBnL.jpg) ![Portable Metal Mesh Laptop Cooler Cooling Pad, 6 Quiet Fans w/Green LED Light, 5 Adjustable Heights, Up to 17" in Notebook, 2 USB Interface w/Speed Control Switch, Non-Slip - Black (11147) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81QGz+dN2pL.jpg) ![Portable Metal Mesh Laptop Cooler Cooling Pad, 6 Quiet Fans w/Green LED Light, 5 Adjustable Heights, Up to 17" in Notebook, 2 USB Interface w/Speed Control Switch, Non-Slip - Black (11147) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/815GDAxo7pL.jpg) ![Portable Metal Mesh Laptop Cooler Cooling Pad, 6 Quiet Fans w/Green LED Light, 5 Adjustable Heights, Up to 17" in Notebook, 2 USB Interface w/Speed Control Switch, Non-Slip - Black (11147) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/814fFObzcmL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great buy *by A***R on March 2, 2020* The sides are plastic but durable it is well built and keeps my laptop cool while gamming I dont even notice the fans are going unless I look at the color great buy for a cheap cooler. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Why do they always make the base plastic *by T***K on June 27, 2018* Why do they always make the base plastic? EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE COOLERS. this is my third one in a year why because if you set these at an angle and pick it up they break, yeah we are looking at maybe an extra 8 to 12 ounces for a solid metal stand but it would break it might bend but it would break. The top is perfect and it does cool could you just make a SOLID METAL ONE I WOULD PAY MORE! The cooling is top notch it does a great job cooling it is just not sturdy ### ⭐ Poor quality! Do not buy! *by C***. on April 6, 2020* I've had this for three months and already, the USB ports have pretty much died on me. There is no reason for anything to go wrong with the ports. I have never banged the unit into anything and I always pull/push STRAIGHT in/out when plugging the cooling pad in and unplugging it. The money I spent on this would have been put to better use as toilet paper. At least that way, it would've gotten a job done removing "s**t" as opposed to adding. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/71300275-portable-metal-mesh-laptop-cooler-cooling-pad-6-quiet-fans](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/71300275-portable-metal-mesh-laptop-cooler-cooling-pad-6-quiet-fans) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-20*
