I purchased 2 of these goals for recreational play.I play 2x a week with a group of 10-15 adults.I upgraded from PUGG 6 Footer Portable Training Goal Boxed Set (Two Goals & Bag)The PUGG Goals are great, 10 seconds to put up to play, and they fold up nicely.Then why the upgrade?Pros:1) Size. Its much more fun to take shots at goal, when there is a decent sized target to take aim at.2) Sturdy goal. A full grown adults take shots at this goal, and the ball bounces back from the Post.3) Playing a game of soccer with REAL goals, instead of just cones. A completely different game compared to when playing with Cones or PUGG goals.Cons:1) Assembly ( takes about 3 minutes to put up the frame, and 2 minutes to put the net up.2) Dis-assembly - same as above3) No Carry Bag Included. I purchased a separate 42"x25" Bag to house the goals in.4) WEIGHT.. They are 25LBS EACH. So a total of 50lbs to be carried to and from car.5) Size. Takes a a Decent amount of space in my trunk.Overall VERY satisfied with the Build quality, especially for the low price.The boxes that came with the goals, got rained on in the first game we played.The boxes are cardboard and got ruined. Love these for backyard neighborhood games. They are easy to assemble, easy to lay flat for storage, lightweight to move for mowing. Netting and frame are durable and good quality.

Putting this together was super easy. Once fully assembled, it looks really nice. They do provide stakes to put down so the net stays firmly in place. Because this is so big, the top and side bars are a little sway e butt firm. It sags a little on the top. It does not affect the overall quality though. I would recommend.

Update:So I just bought my 2nd one, that should give you an idea... This is a great value to set up in the yard, leave it out through weather and sun, and let the kids play without having setup/takedown time and effort. This would not be a good goal to put up, take down, put up, etc. (at least compared to other more expensive goals, we have another for taking places). But it is sturdy and provides a larger goal for play in the back yard for an excellent value.So the new one came with velcro strips to attach the goal, which are all tearing fairly easily. I'm not going to mark my stars down for that, you can reattach where they tear, and they'll work until the sun rots them out and they'll need to be replaced anyways... I'm also not going to mark down stars for the reason I needed to replace my first one: kids LOVE to jump up and hang on the crossbar. This goal won't take that due to the nice big size. Tell your kids that if they jump up and grab the bar, you will do things to them that they won't like, and that their goal will bend and sag and eventually the metal will oxidize and break where the metal is stressed or fatigued or whatever. I considered the powder coated model that was quite a bit more expensive, but I think the value in this one made my decision for me, coupled with the fact that the first one lasted for years.IOriginal ReviewMuch better than the small hand-me-down soccer goal my boys were using.I can see their ball striking skills improving!Good value, everything great still after a few weeks of hard use. I can see me wanting more velcro straps as they wear and age from outdoor exposure, but that is an easy one.

I purchased this for my grandson to use in a large basement and in the yard. I bought the 6 x 4 ft folding model in black (for contrast outdoors with a standard silver chain link fence - the prices of black and silver were about the same at the time I purchased). I was able to set it up easily, using dog agility tunnel sandbags on the ground bar (instead of ground stakes) to prevent tipping in the basement. My grandson is a toddler and has been using it with a size 3 Nerf ball.I see rare reviews that say that the net is wobbly. The bars hold together with push buttons like those on my vacuum cleaner wand. Unlike the stiff, straight, single continuous tube of an assembled vacuum wand, the net tubing takes turns and has attachment points both top and bottom and left and right. The wiggle room is necessary so that only one person is required to assemble and disassemble the frame. If the metal frame were completely rigid, it would require two people acting exactly in unison at opposing attachment points to put the metal tubing together and take it apart. That wiggle room is not a design flaw.One piece came defective, and Franklin Sports responded immediately and generously so that my grandson had his perfect Christmas present on time.
