This product has some great ideas, but suffers from cheap manufacturing. The clip broke, but I was able to fix it with some glue. Then the lead lock broke after my dog got excited to go for a walk and I had to use it to stop her. The coil is weak; sometimes not even able to retract all the way. The flashlight is finicky and the overall feel of the product is cheap.If the manufacturing issues were resolved I would buy another, but otherwise I will be looking at other products.

I have used this 6 times now in the evening. Nice idea, seems to be made cheaply. Contacts in battery compartment and a couple of screws seem rusted but did not affect operation. I have a small dog about 12 lbs yet the recoil or tension seemed very light as it was tough to get the leash to retract completely. Wish there was a tension control! Overall OK to Good for the price

The light is great, but flickers quite a bit. I could tell the retraction mechanism wasn't going to last though, as it had a fragile feel to it, and it didn't. I can't use it anymore, as it only retracts some of the time and that is really annoying. Maybe if you have a small or weak fog it might work great for you. My dog weighs about 36 lbs. and is a one year old and fairly strong.

I have a small dog and didn't realize how large and heavy it was. After putting in 2 batteries its worse. Does give good light though so will keep it for evening walks. Should make a smaller one with button type batteries

At first I LOVED it, but my husband let the dog go the full length and she than started to run and pulled the cable all the way out, he was able to get it back in but now the flashlight doesn't work.

I really wanted this leash to do well because it has the bags and LED light on board. The battery compartment cover would always pop off which a piece of tape fixed. After 2 weeks of use the lock mechanism broke at not a good time while walking our puppy. Luckily no one was hurt.

Had to return this leash the first time I try to use it it wouldn't retract. I really didn't need the light but I do like having the bags on board

I can't rate this product, as it is a Christmas gift for someone other than me.
