18" Heavy-Duty Flexible Gooseneck Arm Hose Tube Chrome Plated

I purchased this 18" Gooseneck arm hose tube, a 3-finger clamp, magnet base, and 12" Ridgid Arm. I plan to use this as a helping hand when working with woodwork and other home projects. The Gooseneck is rigid enough to help hold a something in position while using my hands to get the position lined up more precisely. A set of SnakeClamp products is a must have if you are working on projects alone where a third hand would be useful to help hold things in position.I am an Electrical Engineer and have worked on a lot of industrial machinery. It is easy to determine that this product is a heavy duty product that is meant to be used by people doing hands on projects. Although I purchased this unit for use at home, I am now thinking about ideas where it might be useful on my job.

This item is far more heavy duty than i expected. It easily supports my magnifier light which weighs about a pound. It has threaded areas in both ends making it easy to attach it to an item or structure.

Will hold the heavy mics no problem.....
