Is the comb strong for thick hair

I have very thick, wavy hair. The heaviest combs usually break going through it. This comb, looks light, but slides through my hair like buttuh.

Is it loud? I have an conair one I'm returning because it's louder than my vacuum.

My is fine is not so loud is like regular hair dryer and is really good
