**Q: What's the size of this luggage? Is the larger one considered as the large or medium?**
A: It's large, so it has to be checked. It's either 28 or 29 inches. This is a really good set. I haven't traveled overseas with it yet so I'm not certain how it will hold up with increased use. It does scratch but no dents or dings after 1st domestic flight.
