So we had a Miku camera forever and had sooooo many issues with it connecting to the app and even when it did connect it would destroy your battery level on your phone. We got this to replace that monitor as we have multiple indoor cameras and outdoor camera from IGeek and absolutely love them! PROS: -Easy setup: Pull the cameras out of the box and turn the monitor on and they will pair without any issues. When it comes to the app you download the app, make an account, and pair the phone. I had the app prior to buying this monitor so I was able to just pair it with my current home in 30 seconds. -Clear picture: As soon as your turn on the monitor or open the app you have a clear picture of your child without any delay. -Cry/Noise detection: This has a lot of cool functions and the cry/noise detection is one of them. You can get notifications through the app or put the monitor in standby and it will kick on when crying or sound is detected. -Easy to install in room: Simply put 2 screws in the wall and the monitor is ready to go! -Monitor: Having a monitor that is separate from the app and your phone is fantastic as you don't have to rely on your phone battery or your phone in general to have a view of the camera. CONS: -Mount: The screws that come with the wall mount are small and don't hold anything. You will need some new screws to make this work better. -Powet cable: The cable that comes with the cameras is short. We had to use a cable we had at home to plug the camera in as the provider cable barely put the camera above the top of the crib as the outlet was a long the bottom of the wall. Other than the small equipment issues with cables and screws this is a fantastic item and is the best camera we have owned! Some extra features on the camera, that we haven't used, is the face cover detection and prone detection. As our daughter is 1 year old she is constantly rolling over in her crib so this would be going off all the time and we didn't want all the notifications, but it is a very cool functions. Overall, if you are looking for a baby monitor, spend the extra money and get this! From past experience the cameras they provide are great and last a long time as I have had multiple cameras from them for over 2 years now without a single issue. Spend once and don't take the time getting multiple cameras after old ones stop working.

not only is this camera/monitor system great, but the ieGeek team at customer service is INCREDIBLE. It has been a loooong time since I've been wow'ed by a company's customer service. When I had a tech question, they were responsive via email, personable, win-win, and super duper helpful. I am so happy! and, specifically, this monitor works great, is affordable for the features you get, has great night vision, and was easy to setup!

I switched to this camera with our new baby, and it’s been so helpful having eyes on both kids at once! The video quality is fantastic and it picks up on audio well. Within 6 months of use, the battery died, but the customer service was fantastic and replaced it almost immediately. I’m really happy with this camera choice!

The devices work perfectly. This purchase was of great value.. The monitor's battery life is strong. The sound quality is really good from the app or the monitor. Views are normal, 2x and 4x magnification. Night vision, motion tracking, cry detection make this a plus. Additional safety features are included. Mounting is super simple. This review comes from my daughter: I’ve been using a Motorola baby monitor for a couple of years, but now with a baby on the way I needed a new one with a second camera. After having a positive experience with ieGeek’s outdoor cameras, my dad got me one of their baby monitors. The differences between the old and new one are night and day. The ieGeek’s display is crisp and clear, even in the dark. It also has a wide angle lens which allows me to see the entire room. I like that when the two cameras are plugged in I can choose between single or split-screen views. It also has a night light built into the camera (something the toddler loves for our dance parties). One of the best features that might get overlooked is the ability to turn off the indicator light. I know people with other monitors who put tape or paint over theirs. It’s a small thing, but makes a big difference. It has all the usual features: zoom, talk back, white noise, temperature, etc. Then there are the “nice-to-have” features I haven’t tried yet but might: feeding reminder, connect to the app, and all the detection options (motion, noise, cry, face covering, prone sleeping). We’ll see once the baby gets here! Very good purchase.

I’m so disappointed in this. Not sure how it got all the good reviews. It’s definitely better quality picture than the monitor I used with my first baby but there are WAY too many negatives here. First - for the noise detection 1) the lag time between when noise happens and when it comes through the monitor. 2) sometimes the monitor doesn’t even pick up noise. My old one was just live and we heard everything in there. This one only turns on when there is noise, which is good in theory, but bad in practice. I can have it on max noise detection and it still won’t notify me when my infant is waking. 3) the noise alarm is terrible and there’s no way to change it unless you just want the picture to come on, which is useless when you’re fast asleep. Now for other functionality 1) I can’t talk through it. I’ve tried twice and it just made this horrible loud screeching sound and scared the crap out of my kid. 2) the monitor and cameras are constantly losing signal for no reason. Probably 2/7 nights when we go to bed my toddler’s camera is blinking red and I have to reboot it. I’ll have the monitor in the same place all night and randomly it’ll beep lost signal. 3) the absolute worst of it for us - there’s no way to turn off one camera on the monitor. You have to completely unplug it. For example, if my infant is taking a nap in her room during the day and I want her on the monitor, but I don’t want my toddler’s cam on bc she’s playing loudly in her room, I can’t just select my infant’s camera on the monitor. Every time my toddler makes noise it’ll switch over to the toddler cam. Not really sure how other parents are doing it when they have kids not on the same schedule. 4) the indicator light is REALLY bright. You can turn it off, however if I turned mine off I’d have no idea the thing isn’t working until after my kid is asleep, and I don’t want to go sneaking into her room with a flashlight to reboot after I’ve spent an hour getting her to sleep.

Great baby monitor with blue tooth based monitor and monitoring by phone app over WiFi network. Easy to setup and works well with nice smart baby alert features for crying, prone sleeping, face covering, motion detection. You can turn them on or off anytime. There is also a cloud storage option (paid though) if you need one. There was a small hiccup in my product with one camera not working with connectivity issue. I contacted the customer support team and they sent a replacement camera as soon as they diagnosed and confirmed that the camera was faulty. I received a new camera within a week because of the 2 year old extended warranty. I appreciate their quick response and give a thumbs up for great customer service and caring about customer’s concerns. For that experience and their wonderful baby monitor system I give this product a 5 star rating. Happy with the purchase!

This monitor was great initially. The speaker muted the white noise in baby’s room and has a clear picture. Then the camera started to regularly disconnect. Twice I have woken up on my own and found that the camera had disconnected and when I restarted the monitor, I found my newborn scream-crying (I have a calm baby who goes back to sleep when she cries and only begins the screaming after a couple cycles of calm crying). This means the monitor was off for at least an hour, possibly four hours. My baby also has reflux and can choke on vomit so even a couple minutes of a disconnected monitor is unsafe. In addition to the malfunctioning handheld monitor, the app will log you out without a notification so you’d think baby is calm without any noise alerts, but when you go to check manually you’ll find that the app “timed out.” The worst part is it does this randomly, sometimes it stays on and other times it logs you out. This company also scams you by advertising a bundle with a camera mount. This mount IS NOT COMPATIBLE with these cameras! You’re then unable to return the mount. I’ve only used this monitor for 2.5 months and I already need to frequently charge throughout the day, the white noise now broadcasts through the speaker, and even when working the picture freezes regularly. The monitor will also pick up on all noises right outside baby’s room. For example if a car passes by outside or anyone is walking outside baby’s room door (when closed) or sneezing, talking, etc. These are not even loud noises but will still set off a noise alert on the monitor. This monitor has great potential but unfortunately is too dangerous to use to monitor a baby.

I have tried several different baby monitors since I first needed one and always found issue with them such as low image quality or ability but I havent had any of these issues with this monitor. The setup of the camera on my phone was easy because I already have the IEgeek app for my security cameras. The monitor provided is of high quality with a good picture resolution. The camera is responsive to movement when controlled from the monitor. There are a lot of extra feature included which other monitors I have had in the past haven't had such as the feeding reminder, the alerts for face covering, the prone sleeping detection and noise detection. I think time will tell how useful these are for me but is nice they are there. There is also a call button on the camera which I didn't notice when purchasing which I think is really helpful if you are downstairs and your partner needs assistance, so they can call you up without having to be loud. They also included enough plugs and cables for easy use, I know people don't always include these for the environment but is very helpful to not have to find another one and then use it for this. Would have been good if they included memory cards but these aren't expensive and easy to get if I do need to start recording, I think being able to see live is enough for what I need. Overall a high quality, well made camera that works will with the rest of the IEgeek products.
