TEF-GEL Galvanic Anti-Corrosion Lubricant is a 453g PTFE-based paste designed to prevent galvanic corrosion between different metals. It forms a durable, water-resistant barrier that resists seawater, UV, and environmental wear without evaporating or drying out. The product includes an applicator brush for precise use and is an eco-friendly solution trusted for marine and industrial applications.

## Description

Tef-Gel is a water-resistant PTFE based paste that prevents metal oxidation and corrosion due to galvanic fluxes between different metals. A small amount of TEF-GEL is sufficient to prevent galvanic electron exchange and the resulting corrosion between different metals and materials (aluminium, stainless steel, carbon...) TEF-GEL applied to both surfaces nut and bolt or bolt and tapped drilling leaves a solid PTFE film, which prevents corrosion welding. PTFE is an ultra-fine powder that extrudes outside the contact surface and into the cavities of surrounding surfaces. TEF-GEL can also be used as a seawater resistant lubricant and as a seal to prevent water penetration. As TEF-GEL contains no volatile solvents, it does not evaporate, freeze, dry and permanently protects the elements, allowing easy disassembly. TEF-GEL prevents corrosion welding of stainless steel, inconel and other nickel alloys. TEF-GEL is not an electrical insulator, and it does not increase the electrical resistance of connections.
