Why do so many people trust Yogourmet?

Yogourmet has led home fermentation since 1983, with millions of yogurts and kefirs made each year using our cultures.

What makes Yogourmet different from other starters?

Our cultures are made in France from authentic yogurt and kefir strains, not imitations. They deliver consistent results and are produced under strict ISO and FSSC quality standards.

Are Yogourmet starters natural?

Yes. All our starters are GMO-free, gluten-free, and contain no preservatives or artificial colors. Just pure, carefully selected cultures. All Yogourmet starters are also Kosher and Halal certified.

Do these starters contain probiotics?

Yes. All our cultures include beneficial strains like L. acidophilus, and some products are enriched with extra probiotics to deliver additional digestive benefits.

Can I reuse a batch to make the next one?

Yes, you can reuse a fresh batch once or twice to start a new fermentation, but quality may vary and risks of alteration increase if you go beyond this.
