After years of using Teflon coated pans to fry my eggs, I wanted something maybe less toxic. The reviews for this one were generally positive, and I can see why. Nothing sticks, it feels solidly built, it's the perfect size for frying up a few eggs, and the curve at the side lets me flip the eggs easily without a utensil. Should I need a spatula or other utensil, I'm not worried to use metal in it. It's super easy to clean, too! I hope to have and use this skillet for many years.

I love this pan. The one I had before had copper non-stick on it which everything used to stick to and the handle was about a half inch off the stove making it hard to pick up the pan. This pan has a normal handle but more importantly the non-stick surface is truly NON STICK. Love it, my morning scrambled eggs slide right out and don't leave half of them in the pan. I can preheat the pan with a little olive oil and Mmmm Mmmm the eggs cook perfectly.

I wanted a new non-stick pan just for cooking eggs after my old ceramic pan was damaged and was no longer effectively 'non-stick'. I chose this Granitestone pan after much research for a mix of quality and value. I can say my experience has proven this to be a very good value, with very effective non-stick properties. I brush on a small bit of oil around the pan before adding the eggs and after cooking all I have to do is dry wipe any small residue remaining (and often there is nothing to clean at all). As a side note, this pan is ONLY used for cooking eggs, and so far that has kept this pan as close to Non-Stick of any pan I have ever used.

I bought this to make omelets. It works fine, no sticking. But it does have a slight convex shape, not totally flat. But it still works fine.

Product is so good we ordered a second one. Clean up is so easy!

But is not great on a gas stove. There is a slight concavity to the pan bottom which causes problems cooking a fried egg. the egg slides to the side and spread out along the edge. And the sharp edge between bottom and side also doesn't work well on a gas burner. Seems well made.

Only had it a few weeks. Works exactly as expected. Can't recall were I found a specific recommendation for the brand/model of Non Stick Frying Pan, but it has worked without any oil/butter added every time. Even if a tiny bit of the food burns on the metal parts (not the non-stick surface), a gentle swipe removes that easily. I'm using silicon utensils with it. Heat seems evenly distributed. Eggs appear to cook perfect quickly. It feels like less time than our old egg frying pan. Should have gotten a replacement pan years ago. The only question might be if you are getting the correct size or not. For a 3-egg omelet, 8" is perfect. Also for 1-2 person fried eggs or scrambled eggs, this size is perfect. Now I just need a larger version for family-sized meals like browning 1.5 lbs of ground beef for taco nights.
