Cute size. Would work well for mini and toy poodle bangs but arrived so dull that they literally would not cut hair. Had them sharpened and they are serviceable but not something I would buy again or recommend based on my experience. Been grooming my own dogs for over 20 years. Not user error.

I've been home-grooming my miniature schnauzer for a few years now. Recently, I've been on the hunt for new, more "professional" shears that are sharper, and easier to handle during my grooming sessions. I purchased these because of all the good reviews, and they are relatively cost-effective. I'll go through the pros and cons point by point:Cons:Sharpness - I was looking for shears that could cut baby-fine hair easily. Though these are much sharper than the cheaper shears I have been using, they still have a bit of trouble cutting through fine hair. I am still satisfied with their sharpness, however, and I think I could take them to a professional sharpener to get them exactly how I'd like.Noise - I was hoping these shears would be silent when cutting, but unfortunately, they are pretty noisy. The noise doesn't bother my dog, but having a quieter pair of shears would make the grooming process easier.Rubber Grips - Throughout the process of grooming the circular rubber grips on the inside of the thumb and finger holes kept slipping out! It was very distracting!Pros:Color - The finish on these shears is beautiful and looks exactly as pictured on the product page! I love the iridescence.Case - The shears come in a tri-fold style protective case, so they are protected during storage.Easy of use - These shears were not too heavy or awkward feeling. They felt pretty good! They have a nice weight, but they did not fatigue my hand during my grooming sessions. They are also a good length... I was able to groom my miniature schnauzer's face and legs with no problems.Overall, I would recommend these shears! They are an excellent quality for the price, and suitable for an at-home groomer grooming one or two dogs at a time.

They worked for their price, but didn't hold an edge as long as I'd like. Would be fine for someone doing grooming on their own dog once a month, but wouldn't recommend for daily professional use.

I really liked their straight scissors, so after reading the good reviews I figured I'd get a pair of curved from this company. Twice they have sent me the wrong item and sent thinning shears. Either it's advertised incorrectly or someone isn't doing their job correctly. I'm very disappointed but I will be looking for a pair of curved scissors elsewhere since this company has proven to be unreliable.update: Turns out there was a shipment that had been apparently mislabeled. The company reached out and contacted me about the issue. They sent me the correct pair of shears, the 7.5in curved shears. So far I'm very happy and content with the product.

Nice shear in appearance and performance. They are comfortable and balanced. The only down side I found is they arrived sharp I felt the edge still wasn't as sharp or had a drag on a thicker coat of a cocker spaniel or heavy curly type coats. Overall I do find them to be an excellent back up to my favorite shear.

I held off on buying these because of the expense, but now I know I've been using cheap shears way too long. This is a nice pair of curves which have a bit of weight to them. They are good for small round heads and have a smooth action that allows for a pretty good finish. Nice pair of scissors for the price as I use them every day in my grooming shop.So much more comfortable to use, and they cut so much better. You get what you pay for, and in this case, totally worth it.

I like the size of the scissors as they fit my hand nicely ! I have two Bichon Frise and like to keep them trimmed so use this scissor for rounded heads and belly curves.

I bought these for my back up pair. Started using them for my every day pair. Work and feel smooth. I like them better than my favorite pair. Will be getting the straights soon. I love that they are affordable. I payed well over 100 dollars for my other fancy pairs. These work just as good or probably, even better.

I haven’t had these scissors long so am hoping the blade lasts through many cuts.
