This is a very well-made ceiling fan. installation is easy. The fan displaces far more air than my previous fan. It is very quiet. The lamp is very bright and dimmable to a shadow. The remote works well and Smart Life app integration was easy. Troubleshooting Tip: Try to keep the antenna (a single white wire protruding from the black control unit) fully extended. Initially, my antenna wire was not and it limited the signal strength to my WiFi access point. A Selfish Automation Improvement Request: I have nearly all lights in my home automated with events for on, off, dimming, and color changes. With the current firmware version, any automated lamp change (like brightness or color) will turn the lamp on at the time of the change. This fan is the only device I have experienced exhibiting this behavior. If a future firmware version could decouple this dependency, this fan would be perfect for my needs.

So far, so good. Looks great with no issues. I hope this lasts! Just a piece of advice with installation: 1. Attach hanger bracket 2. Wire the motor and hang the motor to the hanger bracket 3. Attach the blades. 4. Attach light kit In this order, I was able to install the fan all by myself. I’m not sure why the instructions say to assemble the fans first then attach to ceiling. That just sounds so much more difficult.

I should have known by the reviews that this fan was going to require customer support. They are mostly positive but almost all of them said that they needed support of one kind or another. My fan is no different. I have tried to contact customer support through the email address provided. I have not received any kind of response after writing 4 and 5 days ago. The problems with the fan are that the blades are slightly off from each other toward the center of the fan. This does not stick out unless I am really looking for it. I can almost get over that but it would be nice if they all lined up better. The remote needs to be tapped twice or more for each function to work. After so many taps, the light and fan settings will change as desired. Sometimes, a beeping noise comes with the change. Sometimes, no beep. If I tell alexa to turn the light on or off, I hear the beep but nothing happens. There may be some troubleshooting I can do with customer support to get this to work better. Or, like several others have reviewed, I may need new blades, a new remote receiver or new fan. I would like to troubleshoot this one first and see what can be done. For now, I will wait for the company to respond to my 2 star review which may be the only way I can get their attention.

This is an amazing fan. Very lightweight has great output. The remote control and alexa feature work perfectly.
