Terrible puzzles!
Terrible clues! Frequently make no sense to the authors answer. References to people that I have never heard or read about. As a puzzle fan of the NY Times, LA Times and WSJ, These puzzles are a joke.

Pretty hard for medium
Book is great. Easy to see in large print and double spaced for writing. BUT: Either I'm far less intelligent than I had always thought or the gap between easy and medium is huge. The only way for me to fill any words in is with my phone searching. Book is fine but my vocabulary is obviously lacking.

They are very difficult. Some of the answers do not make sense for the clues

Difficult Puzzles
Although touted as "Medium" Difficulty, I found these puzzles to be extremely challenging. There are many arcane words I have never heard of. Clues can be deceptive. Although I do Sunday NYTimes puzzles with ease, these puzzles posed a problem for me.
