My grandmother is a laryngectomee. she had to get her unit replaced since her other brokke recently. we saw this unit, it was very affordable, but it didn't have any ratings. money was tight so we purchased this unit in hopes it would still be good for the price.....we were wrong. terribly wrong..... the instructions were very confusing. my grandmother had such a hard time understanding how to adjust the volume and pitch. even when I tried to help her it was a hassle getting the unit to really work. we gave up on trying to figure out how to work the volume and pitch so we tried with whatever the setting was. IT WAS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND MY GRANDMOTHER. the unit sounded terrible. the buzzing was too loud and it sounded garbled. wht happened??? she was getting emotional, I was getting emotional, this product is complete trash and such a disappointment. I WOULD NOT recommend. we're deeply upset and will look for another product.
