The problem with supplemental amino acids is that you need a lot of it to see the real benefit.L-Ornithine is an amino acid mainly used in the urea cycle in the capacity of removing excess nitrogen from the body. So it basically removes ammonia and there are other shared benefits to Arginine like improving nitric oxide for vaso dilation.What you are actually doing here is creating another pathway for L=Arginine to be created which in turn creates more phosphocreatine in muscular tissue therefore indirectly allowing for more strength and endurance but again, for an 80kg plus muscular person, you will need at least triple dose to see some benefit added. It depends on your reasons for doing something.If you want to build as much muscle as possible and perform better in sport, take more of this hence why I am not so sold due to pricing. Bulk powders or Myprotein would be a better source to be able to add this to protein shakes with an unflavoured powder.

The tablets weigh 51 grams (as shown on the side of the bottle) and there’s 60 tablets so that works out to just under 1 gram per capsule, the capsules size is typical of most supplements and I have no problem swallowing them. With these we need to take 2 per day so the bottle gives you a one month supply. I don’t know the price at the time I of writing this review so I cannot say if they’re value for money or not. However I have many of Swanson’s supplements and they’re always priced fairly so I trust that these to would be a fair price.I have not administered the pills due to my doctors advice so I cannot tell you if they work or if I’ve noticed any differences so my review is based on the physical attributes of the product itself. Swanson always provide high quality pills. I have some of their supplements that I do take a few times a day every day for life for my personal health problems, they are Swanson brand because I trust the brand and like the quality. So therefore I highly recommend the brand.I find most sellers of supplements for sale on Amazon does not have an informative description of what the product does and what it is used for. I think that the seller should include this information in the description. They don’t so unless you know what L-Ornithine Amino Acid is used for then you cannot make an educated decision on whether you need these supplements. For this reason I reduced 1 star from my review.

These are very easy to swallow and don't taste too bad.The capsules seem to be of high quality and they are packaged with a nice long shelf life.I haven't noticed any benefit in taking these yet, but i am only a week and a half into them so far.

L-Ornithine Amino Acid is a building block of proteins. It is also enhances liver function and so helps to detoxify harmful substances. Studies have also been conducted showing that L-ornithine reduces the stress response in animals, so there is speculation that it can play a role in the relief of stress and improve sleep and fatigue symptoms in humans. I have been taking these supplements for two weeks now and I seem to be sleeping a little better than usual. I will do an update in 2 months time.I am always pleased with the quality of Swanson supplements and these are no exception. Two of these supplements will supply 1g of L-Ornithine. Like all Swanson supplements I have tried, these are very easy to swallow with no aftertaste.This amino acid is found in many foods especially in meat, fish, eggs, Brazil nuts etc. I think I would prefer to get the source from food but I’m guessing that it might be harder for vegans or vegetarians to get sufficient amounts.No price at the moment as they are currently unavailable online so I can’t comment on whether they are value for money.
