EASY AND QUICK SIDE DISH OR DIP
1:1 ratio (beans and water) in a saucepan on the stove; cook and stir until it looks like refried beans. Top with Mexican sour cream and cheese. YUM!!! And SO EASY! We use pork rinds to dip, but tortilla chips would be great, too. I sometimes add it to soups or stews as they cook for flavor. Kind of expensive, but we bought this case during the pandemic as a pantry staple. Also, the directions are for a huge steam table and would be too much for us, so I figured out how to use smaller portions. One cup beans + one cup water seems to work for my family. These are really tasty refried beans!! Once we run out, I'll definitely buy these again.

they are incredibly tasty and super quick and easy to make
I've never tried these before but I purchased them along with my regular stash, 50# bag of dried pinto beans because they shipped quicker than the 50# bag. My pantry was empty and my family lives on Mexican food. Aside from the fact that they arrived very fast, they are incredibly tasty and super quick and easy to make! I will continue to keep a supply of these in my normal pantry stash for both flavor and convenience. These are literally done in 5 minutes with just boiling water. Nothing could be simpler or taste better.

I love them!!! Delicious!!!
I like this beans a lot! Very easy to cook and has a very natural flavor. As simple as boil watter, then add the beans and stir, that’s it. I use the same amount of watter and beans.I bought them last year from other seller individualy, but then I couldn’t find them until now with this seller, they arrived in perfect time and good conditions. Hope he continue selling them.

Taste good, easy to make any size batch, and excellent shelf life.
We used to buy bags of dehydrated refried beans at the local supermarket because we liked being able to make small batches, and waste less. However the store stopped carrying them so I found these online. They taste excellent and easy to prepare, and store for a long time.

Too much salt.
The beans taste great, but way too much sodium for Me. If Santa Fe Culinary beans come back in stock I will mix half and half. That should make them edible.

Contains interesterified soybean oil
I was extremely disappointed in these as they have interesterified soybean oil, which is as bad as trans fatty acid or even Olean. Not healthy at all. But at least they put that on the label; I simply missed it in the ingredient list when I ordered it from Amazon. Also, they are way too salty. Gave them away to someone who doesn't give a hoot about their health.

It should be easy to find ingredients on the listings
I tried to find a list of ingredients before purchasing these and everything I read lead me to believe these were simply dehydrated beans. They are not. They have soybean oil and a preservative. I'm allergic to soybeans and this information was important to know. It should be easy to find ingredients on the listings.
