Good puzzles but hard to read numbers
These puzzles are just about right for me. Many I can finish without looking up any answers, some I need to look up a few answers. There have only been a small number that had really difficult clues, like authors or books I've never heard of. Overall, though I'm enjoying them a lot.My biggest complaint is the size and printing of the numbers inside the boxes. It can be almost impossible to tell a 5 from a 6, so 55 and 66 look nearly identical to my eyes. The printing seems to be the worst in the first half and improves in the latter half but the numbers are still very small regardless. I frequently wind up putting an answer in a wrong column or row. If your eyesight is better than mine, it may not be a problem for you.

Difficult but not ridiculously so!
If you like crosswords that challenge without driving you nuts, this is a great series. NY Times is challenging, too. But it can drive you nuts with the obscure cultural references and obscure word definitions/connotations. Washington Post is tough but with a bit of brain activity, you can usually figure it out. Hot always the first time through, but if you give it a rest for a day and let the "boys in the basement" work on it, it usually comes to you.

That sums it up.

Perfect for doctor's offices - 200 puzzles + Sunday size
I've been getting these giant crossword puzzle books for years as a gift from my son. He recently stopped getting them so this is the first I had to purchase on my own. I only like the Sunday size ones because they are the most challenging. The Washington Post has some of the best. If you're like me, read carefully. Big difference between Mega and Sunday Crosswords. The Mega's are not challenging enough. Maybe they mean larger size print when they use the word Mega and not Sunday. These are great puzzles with some unique themes. I own the other editions of the Washington Post.

Great Challenge
A bit tougher than the L.A. Times

Difficult, but fun
Many of the puzzles have clues that require a bit of thought to come up with the answer, but isn't that what serious puzzle solvers are looking for? Good challenges.

Need clearer type.
Puzzles are challenging, but print is not clear, especially clue numbers on list and in puzzle

Inferior paper makes many grid numbers almost indecipherable.
Very entertaining puzzles, but poor paper quality makes many grid numbers, especially fives and sixes, virtually impossible to read, because the ink bleeds badly into the paper. And "i"s and lower-case "l"s are often indistinguishable. Please: Use better paper and charge a dollar more, to greatly improve the solvers' experience and pleasure. Quit cheaping out.
