My skin had been having an acne flareup at the time I started trying this product and I found that it seemed to help everything settle a bit. The pump bottle dishes out a quite rich, thick foam which you can apply directly to damp skin, massage in and then rinse off, I tend to use a flannel/face cloth but it washes off easily and doesn't leave a residue. It made my skin feel very clean, there was some tightness but being an AHA product I was expecting that. It's great value, the bottle seems small but because it pumps out a foam, I suspect it will last longer than it may seem. the product was £4.99 at the time I wrote this review.
