SUNSCOVER Greenhouse Plastic Film Clear Polyethylene 6 mil 4 Year UV Resistant Cover (40 ft Wide x 25 ft Long)

Plastic film was like it was cut off a larger, wider roll. The edges were not very straight, and it was like it was unrolled out onto a rough concrete floor or stone driveway. and where it was cut off at the tail end, someone walked on top of it on a rough surface, punching numerous "dents" and small holes and 'punctures' either into, and and some totally through the plastic. I purchased this to fabricate an "umbrella" for over the top of a 10' X 10' easy-up type of shelter, which is a good quality one but nevertheless, after extended periods of rain seams eventually allow water to wick through on the metal framing and drop to the floor. I previously made one from some 6 mil plastic purchased from a big box store, which worked fine, but the sun eventually degraded the plastic (couple years) to where I needed to replace it. I don't know how long this "Greenhouse" plastic will hold up (4 years they say, but I believe that is when it is 'doubled', i.e., 2 layers, which doubles the cost), but it is rather disconcerting to get it and it has been abused already. I was ready to send it back as I was rather disgusted, but we had three to four days of steady rains coming so I had to do something and just bit the bullet. I'm not happy with the way the product was handled prior to it being sent to me. I've worked with this stuff a lot in the past and know exactly what happened;some careless 'yard' individuals assigned to go cut a piece off for this customer couldn't figure out (or didn't care) how to cut it off without stepping on it, and thus damaging the film. I'm not pleased but under the circumstances needed to go with the damaged merchandise. Next time I will just go with the big box store item as it is less expensive anyway and I reckon may last just as long anyway. Therefore, I would recommend "with caution" only. I have pictures but couldn't load them from my phone to the computer due some glitch, but may later, or could send them to anyone from my cell phone.

This is great! I just needed a little bit to put over some windows in my chicken coop. My piece was generously sized. It was in perfect condition when it arrived. It’s exactly the right thickness that I was looking for and should hold up to the strong winds of the Northern Minnesota prairie. It is NOT crystal clear but it’s translucent enough that it lets in a good amount of light and I can still see out of it, just not well.It was easy to cut with a regular scissors but didn’t tear easily around puncture points.This stuff is so nice I am considering using it to wrap part of my outdoor chicken run with it too. Highly recommend this.

I'll update this review after I use the product.This is shocking. Usually plastic products come from China, no way around it. What a nice surprise that this is US made. No idea why they're so discrete about it.

Very good material. The amount of warmth the raised beds get is fantastic, our lil cattle panel build with this as a cover works great! It's durability is ok, it got a few knicks just putting it on but still doing the job at 30°f weather here in PNW. Biggest problem I had was the way it was folded up when we opened it. Yeah, makes it hard to not get it dirty opening it up to get the amount we needed. A roll would be more convenient.

I bought a type of plastic that said it was for greenhouses/high tunnels but during the summer, the sun beat down on it so hard that it just became brittle and cracked. Once it cracked, it just started falling apart. So back to the drawing board. My greenhouse/ high tunnel is made with cattle panels. I bought THIS plastic to go over it after i read the reviews. Very happy with what i was reading, I took a chance. Now so far, it has only been on for 6 months but i have had no problems with it. I can see this plastic lasting a long long time. I go out there now in the cold and it is quite warm in there. Not Hot...but quite warm:) I would definitely say try it for yourself.

I ordered this last year & built a greenhouse. Unfortunately I tore it down and didn't save anything. So when I started again this year, I knew just what to order! Very good quality. Made it through the snow/ cold storm we had last year and I didn't lose any crops.

Great product and price! As long as you put this on properly, tape any sharp edges, and don't drag it you shouldn't have rips. Very durable, and our plants love it! We have same plants in same pots inside greenhouse and outside, the ones inside are bigger/happier for sure!Another thing I have to mention is their customer service is excellent! I contacted them regarding a house member having an allergic reaction to the plastic. They responded back quickly and provided as much info as possible which is a huge help.
