Budget Friendly, Hobby Grade!
This is a hobby grade vehicle, an RTR rig with battery and charger included for less than $150. (It’s more affordable than a tank of gas.) In factory form it’s capable of reaching more than 50MPH without hop-ups. With that in mind, it crosses the threshold for being a toy and should be operated by responsible individuals that will respect this performance oriented remote controlled vehicle for being the capable machine it is. This is an excellent RC car for novice enthusiasts of all ages. It’s put together with quality materials, easy to operate, offers user-friendly adjustments for maneuverability, really takes a beating, and replacement parts are available both on Amazon and directly from the manufacturer! It really is a lot of fun to drive.

Super 14th Scale RC, I'll Take 2 Please.
Wow, what an awesome little truck. I've run 20 or so packs through it and it's running strong. Loads of fun and you can get really creative with this little guy. It's got ridiculous power that can make it difficult to control. It's just more than a chassis this size can handle, but turn the throttle dual rate down to 50/60% and this thing still gets it like nobodies business, is much easier to control in tighter spaces with a lot of obstacles, and gets awesome battery life from the provided well known 2200mah RLAARLO 3s pack. If you are looking for a tough little 14th scale basher than can hit 45+ mph, can play in tight areas, that will bring you years of joy, this is your RC.

Great build quality, many metal parts, awesome value and performance
I'm an RC enthusiast and I have several cars/trucks from various manufacturers but one of my favorite brands so far has been RLAARLO - mainly because of the durability; I own 2 Rlaarlo 1/10 Omni Terminator (OT) trucks (metal and carbon versions) and they are both built to a very high standard. I wanted a 1/12 size and, although these X12S trucks pop up under several different names like Vircas and Lafpacy, the box you get has RLAARLO on it. When mine arrived, I was pleased to see the same great build quality as my OTs, a metal chassis plate, and many nice CNC metal parts such as shock towers and drive shafts, many marked 'Rlaarlo'. It wasn't clear in the web description but this Vircas one does come with a nice Rlaarlo 3S, 2200 mAh, 35C LiPo battery which gives it plenty of power - I didn't test with a GPS but the speed of this thing is awesome. I tried it on the paved street in front of my house and found that the stock wheels/tires seem a bit small and lacking grip; it was also clear that the truck would be improved by a gyro to maintain stability and stop spin outs and roll overs - especially if you're going to go crazy on the throttle like me. I found a set of 4 Vgoohobby 88mm OD tires that have narrower fronts and are slightly bigger and wider than the stock tires. I also changed to a MEUS M-06AT gyro receiver which works with a HOTRC transmitter I already own; once these were fitted, this truck had much better traction on the road and on dirt, the slightly greater diameter tires helped on grass, and the gyro tamed down all the instability and gave zero wobble, even on full speed runs. The new receiver also added the advantage that I can see the car's LiPo voltage on my transmitter. The bigger/better tires might be a matter of choice but a gyro receiver as standard would be a welcome upgrade. I'm having a lot of fun with this little truck, it's the perfect size to throw it in the car and drive at the local club, for the price it's a bargain, and now all my buddies want on too. Highly Recommended.

Looks amazing and performs as good as it looks! 48 mph stock! This little RC truck is exceptional.
The ROG1 is the best 1/14th scale truck on the market. Not only does it look REALLY good, it also performs really good. It has many strengths and few weaknesses. The strengths include great top speed right out of the box. Mine hit 48 mph on the stock gearing and will likely hit 60 mph on the included speedrun pinion (I will update this review once I run it). Few budget RC trucks have adjustable motor mounts which is a great feature to have for speedruns – where this truck really shines! The truck also had droop screws which allows you to lower the ride height for improved on road handling. The adjustable tie rods let you dial in the alignment after lowering the truck and you have the perfect setup for not only good handling off road but also on road! It also has front and rear sway bars – a very nice touch The range for the transmitter is very good. It can easily go 700 feet (as far as I have tried to run it) and likely even further. The transmitter also has dual rate which is a must for speedrunning. Rlaarlo really thought of all of the most important features in this truck and somehow managed to put them in it even at its relatively low price! The body not only looks stunning but is also is fairly thick at this price point and has roof rails to protect it in case you flip it. Under the body, the good looks continue with a very intricate design with so many thoughtful features. It is easy to work on, includes hex hardware, and event he bottom of the chassis looks great with a cool design. The 45A ESC performed flawlessly and unlike many other budget RC’s, the brake modulation is very good. The oil filled shocks not only provide excellent dampening but also have adjustable spring rates. The drivetrain is all metal and very durable yet also includes a slipper clutch to help safeguard shock to the drivetrain. The included LIPO is VERY powerful and comparable to the performance of high end LIPOs from the best brands on the market. The small size lets you take it just about anywhere and makes its fast top speed seem even faster. The weakness of this truck? As it is only 1/14th scale, despite the very good suspension system and meaty off road tires, its off road capability is limited due to its small size. A truck like this is best suited for groomed off road use like on a baseball field. Running it on rough terrain isn’t ideal, especially with how fast this truck is. Other than that, it is hard to find complaints. If you are looking for a budget friendly RTR truck, you are not going to find a better all around option at this price point, especially if you enjoy speedrunning! Rlaarlo nailed it out of the park with this design.

what a disapointment.
It broke immediately. Totally unreliable. Maybe I got a lemon but that lemon was pretty sour. Handling was difficult as it likes to flip over you can adjust that but I didn't get the chance! Speed was good but I wouldn't take a fast car that broke literally in the span of 5 minutes!! Not fun to have that happen when you were driving on a paved road, made one pass and it flipped over and broke! Very disappointing

One small issue
This car is an amazing RC vehicle! Out of the box it looks and drives amazingly. Great for the price and fun too. My only con is after driving for about 20 minutes the servo arm for the steering snapped. 😭. Would recommend driving on low settings till you get a handle on the vehicle. I hit a curb and it just broke so not very durable, however I'm already replacing the arm because this RC is worth repairing and can't wait to get back on road.

Hyperactive Basher!
This little truck is a hyperactive basher. Start slowly and adjust the throttle lower on the remote when you start to get a feel for it then turn it up. This truck has a lot of torque and power. You will be doing wheelies and launching jumps off of ramps in no time. If you want to bash this is a good little truck to get. I have not had any breakages as of yet. The components seem to be off good quality plastics and durable so far. Just be aware it can be a lot to control and may not be the best for an absolute RC beginner.

Great car for the price
Great car for the money it’s a very fast car it handles really well on grass, pavement, gravel. It seems like it’s built pretty well and has some decent parts for the undercarriage being mostly metal for the main components, drive it full speed and have wrecked it quite a bit now and it’s been fine every time. Would recommend for the money, I’d say it’s better than some bigger names. Would buy again
