Can mix as little or as much as you want
I ordered this because I have always wanted to try epoxy type resins. This is very easy to work with. You just mix equal amounts of the resin with the hardener in a 1 to 1 ratio. Because these have to be mixed together to activate and harden you can mix the amount that you need, you do not need to use the whole bottle at once. I am just experimenting so I just mixed up a small amount to make some keychains in silicone molds. I put a little bit of the mixed solution in the molds, added some sparkle and glitter and added more of the solution. I just set this aside and let them dry, they took about 24 hours to cure. This was so easy and fun to use.It dries crystal clear and I did not have any bubbles and I didn’t do anything to remove bubbles. I will use a round mold next time because a square mold has pointy corners because this dries hard. This would be a fun craft project for older kids. Overall I am very impresses with this artist resin and would buy again.

Extremely disappointing results.
This epoxy , from a very reputable brand, was a big disappointment. I used this for a thin coating for a few paintings and pieces of jewelry I made and the outcome was a very blotchy and unprofessional finish. I will attach photos showing this. It’s a 1:1 mix ratio and I mixed roughly 2oz batches at a time. First coat just to essentially prime the surface as my paintings have variable porosity throughout them. The results were pretty bad. Instead of one smooth coat (after the second coat) the epoxy seemed to puddle together in small bumps or groupings despite the layer being extremely thin. It had the same effect of water on a windshield, not an even coating over the whole piece. I even tested a solid wood jewelry pendant I made, brushing on a VERY thin layer and smoothing it all out only to come back after cure to find that it too, had blotches. This stuff may work better for a thicker pour in a mold where it can’t blotch together but for a thin coating this stuff is a huge disappointment. I wanted it to essentially seal my paintings while adding a gloss and giving some depth to the texture and I wish I would have used something else because the finished product is NOT satisfactory especially for something made for selling. I’m not sure why this happened but it’s certainly not the outcome I was looking for.

Very clear, dries in goot time, easy to use
Great value for the money, will work for multiple projects whether making completely with it or using it to seal. The smell is not very strong making it easier to work with and deal with. It is very clear, leaves a very clear finish and blends well with glitter, mica powder or other mixable pieces/powder! The bubbles are easy to dissipate and get rid of, they are fairly small when there are some but they do clear up and go away. Dry time is fairly quick and it dries evenly and without being tacky! Great overall quality and a wonderful value for any crafter!

A good resin for casting eyes
I used this resin to make custom eyes for one of my costumes. It sets up beautifully and had minimal bubbling during pour. I added a resin dye to color it as well as a small amount of fine mica powder and the results were great. The final eye is transparent blue, bubble free and has a nice shine on the exterior. I put an LED behind it and it looks fantastic.

Crystal Clear
I use this epoxy resin as a pour on application for a charm. It worked fantastic and cures bubble free (if you remove any air bubbles at first - they won't reappear). You have about 30 minutes work time so that is ample time to achieve your desired setup. I used this with a resin heat mat on a low setting and was able to cut down the cure time from 24 hours to 3 hours. This is a high quality resin for DIY projects. It was easy to mix. Even though it is advertised as 1:1 volume; they include instructions for weight mixture (which I prefer). Great value!

Easy to use and really good results!
I'm no epoxy resin expert. I've played around with it a little though and have had really varied results depending on brand. It was my first time using TotalBoat, and I'm really happy with the results. It opens and pours easily and without mess, and I appreciate how much more control I had over the smaller bottles than the bigger sized ones. I used it to pour a clip board and some small pendants. It mixed up clear, poured easily, had minimal air bubbles that came out easily, and hardened perfectly, staying crystal clear in the process. I couldn't ask for any more than that!
