It works great for the price. I use it outdoors climbing a couple times per week and abused it pretty badly. I've had it about a year and I think I should replace it soon. A big reason is because my pocket knife cut it up a little which was my fault completely.The zippers are just OK.. they're starting to get a little harder to pull open though the design of the loop handles does make it easier. Once this thing gets very dirty, no washer can help it. I know it's an adventure pack but it's obviously made of thin, cheaper materials.It's VERY comfortable to wear even when it's full and heavy and I'm sure this would last someone else much longer. I just don't respect my stuff very well and throw it around. The back and straps are very nice and seem to be high quality.

I live in a bike-friendly, "bring your own shopping bag" town. When I'm shopping or doing errands on my bike, or going to the gym, it carries everything necessary, including a pair of walking shoes and my two bike locks. I find the fit is comfortable, with enough room for larger people (I'm a 5'8" woman, muscular). The chest band might be too big for a smaller woman, but a bit of clever sewing and you can make it fit.I only use this as a day-trip backpack. I can stuff my groceries, or my lunch, and/or my purchases along with all the other sh*t I carry. It substitutes for a purse. I did get caught in the rain once, and everything but me arrived home dry. Wasn't a long ride though.

It really is a fairly decent pack for a little less money. The best thing about this IMO is the pocket layout. They are well sized and can easily fit various things that would be needed on a day of hiking, cycling, just being outdoors. The straps were comfy, but overall I think it was made for short people. I'm 5'10" and it just felt like it was riding high and I couldn't seem to find a way to lower the load so my hips took some weight without the whole thing feeling a bit unwieldy. In the end I sent it back to try out another pack. However if you're on a budget this would be a fine bag to use.

Love this bag. Very comfortable to wear. Great size with suitable space for a day hike. I would imagine it would work well for bike riding as well. I wanted a bag that was light weight and fit nicely for biking and hiking. I can easily add a water bladder, clothing and snacks for a day trip. I hiked for several miles on a hot day and found the pack breathable on my back. The color options are great as well. I would recommend this pack for anyone and plan to purchase a second one for my husband.

Okay. So I was over ambitious when I ordered this. Lol. I'm 5'10 and my husband is a 6'8". Not only does the bag come with humorously written "directions" but the bag is built for a small person. If you are a 5'1" very petite female or child... and you think average size school book bags are huge... then this is your bag. We were looking for something we could throw some snacks, maybe a towel and a water bottle in for when we go hiking or to the park with our 4 year old. Lol.... this is NOT that bag.

Perfect little hiking bag. Great for long bike rides and its lightweight. Fits the perfect amount of materials as well as supporting the shoulder straps with a chest strap. The chest strap helps hold the shoulder straps in place from sudden and jerky motions. This bag also has a waist strap that makes it more comfortable to carry and keeps your hands free from having to keep re adjusting the bag if you decide to run or have to move in various directions. Train riding, bike riding, carrying kids, hiking up hills, jogging etc. all around I love this bag. It's perfect for any adventure. Also nice and compact for airline travel as a carryon to get to whatever smaller items you have allows for packing of a change of clothes.

The Paladineer worked great. I needed something to carry some supplies for a day long excursion and it worked like a charm. It's certainly not water-proof, but I wasn't expecting it to be. It handled the rain as expected as long as I remembered to not set it in any puddles. It had plenty of room for all of my stuff and if was very comfortable to wear. I wish I'd purchased it years ago.

I purchased this backpack for my 9 year old daughter to use as a daypack for some light hiking. Sadly, this pack was falling apart after 1 week of use. The main top carry handle is tearing away from the pack. The padded material that lines the backside of the pack is falling apart too from friction when carrying on your back. My daughter never carried more than a water bottle, jacket, flip flops in the pack. Terribly disappointed. The materials of construction are substandard.

I've been using this on my walks and runs to work for about six months now and it's stood up very well.Every strap is adjustable, and easily so. Even while jogging I can loosen or tighten the shoulder straps with one hand. The chest and waist straps are little more fiddly, but still easy enough. The one issue I have with the straps is that the chest strap doesn't tighten QUITE enough as the brand label stitched onto it gets in the way. It could do with maybe an extra 5mm of strap to pull through.The padding on shoulder straps is excellent. They are very comfy.The main body holds a lot. I can carry a change of clothes, notebooks and a tablet in the inner pockert, and have room to spare for a bit of shopping. Or just a whole load of shopping. The reinforced back means I'm not constantly prodded by anything bulky I'm carrying as well. The side mesh pockets have slightly elasticated openings so that my sunglasses don't go flying out while I'm jogging, and a water bottle fits snuggly in them making it easy to reach and put back. There are a couple of additional pockets on the back which are useful for storing any small items you might want easy to hand.The zip seen running down the front is actually a bit of a pain. Anything stored in that little pocket (I keep my emergency chocolate supply in there) will come tumbling out if the zip is pulled right down to the bottom.My only complaint, which brings this bag down to 4 stars, is that it doesn't have a flat bottom. It can't be placed on the ground or a table open and left like that as it will topple forward... throwing everything in it onto the floor. This is especially likely if the front pockets have a lot in them. I find it very annoying.

A great little bag which actually holds more than you think. I use this for packing my work gear on my runs to work in the morning. So, space for shoes, trousers, etc and food too. Space left over for other stuff if required.Pack seems to be water resistant /waterproof as clothes have need been wet upon opening.If tightened properly, the pack doesn't move around.Lots of uses and I'll more than likely use for outdoor pursuits too.A great purchase. You wouldn't be disappointed in purchasing this.

I love this bag. I was looking for something smaller, but this works great for the job. The fabric is a thin nylon, with everything you need on the bag to protect your back when carrying.The only down side I can think of is that thieves maybe able to use a sharp blade to get into the bag, but other then that it's brilliant.

rubbish it broke within 9 months of used the large zip came away from the stitching not waterproof not great for the price.

This arrived in good time, and was a good price - from the pictures, I expected it to be almost florescent green, and black... whereas its a slightly murkier green and a dark green/blue - this is fine though.Will probably update after a while concerning wear and lifespan, but it looks quite sturdy and well built from the start!
