I purchased this DAP to play FLAC files in lossless format. For $30, this DAP punches well above it's level. Sound is loud and strong with no need for a headphone amplifier. Very pleased with the battery performance. Limitations: 1) This player will not play 24-bit/192kHz files or higher resolution audio. 2) The USB C charging port does not support a headphone amplifier or other connectivity. 3) It is NOT a touch screen, requiring use of the navigation buttons, and I find myself touching the screen in my attempts to select playback options. For the price, none of these limitations are deal breakers. I'm extremely happy and I accept the limitations of this unit. It is a solid FLAC player with support for up to 128MB Micro SD expansion. Very pleased and surprised.

Okay, first off, it’s not an Ipod.. This is a basic MP3 player, but it does a really good job at it.. Plus it has some features that you may, or may not, need or want… It does feel substantial in your hand, although it’s relatively small and “slippery”.. I had to make (adapt) a rubberized sleeve for it. The case (the one I made) looks ugly, but it really helps get a handle on it… Overall, I like it, and it does what I wanted it to do…. I use it to play already downloaded podcasts, news-related clips, audiobooks, and long music mixes, (all MP3 format) while I’m walking my many miles each week, or just working on things around the house… And I use it every day… The positives: 1) I love that you can simply transfer MP3 files from your computer into the player, and into as many Folders as you want, without needing to use something like iTunes or something like that.. Being able to create multiple different Folders is critical here.. It’s really the only way to keep your files organized, as far as I’ve been able to find.. And I’ve never had an issue transferring files. 2) The Bluetooth has been working reliably, every time I’ve used it, which regularly.. 3) It comes with ear-buds, but can’t judge their quality because I’ve used my own the times I’ve used that function.. 4) Sound quality is very good... I don't use the included ear-buds, but the player itself offers solid sound.. I have never used the speaker though, and probably won't.. 4) Battery life seems to be great.. But do know that Bluetooth consumes power, whereas using the 3.5mm output jack for ear-buds does not… The negatives: 1) It’ll play ONLY AMV and AVI video files.. I was hoping it would work with small MP4 files (even if I wanted to just LISTEN to them), but no… Don’t hope you can play them, they are not recognized.. That may or may not be important to you… 2) The Music organization… It’s not terrible, but as others have noted, it’s not an Ipod, and the file organization will leave you wanting… It’s okay for me, as I keep things all organized with multiple folders, but, that may not be what you’re going for… Again, it’s ~not~ an Ipod.. 3) SORTING of Folders.. I love being able to use different folders, but the ONLY way I’ve found that it sorts the files within each folder is…..by Date Created… Sort by Title, no.. Sort by Size, no.. Sort by Length, no…. And all would be a feature I’d use… But no, not gonna happen… And would love to be wrong on that, if anyone figures out how.. So, all that said, for the price, I really do like it, and it does a great job, for me… But if you were buying this mainly for music listening, and you want it to be an Ipod, you’ll be disappointed.. The Music organization just leaves you wanting… Would I buy it again? Probably.. But I’d also look at other similar ones to see if they offered better organization of files… I’ll give a 4-Star rating, as it works really, really, well, but I think it “could” be better in it’s function.. And if it also came with a small rubberized case to hold it, THAT would be fantastic.. But I’ve yet to see any of these small players that do.. And it would really help in keeping it from sliding around… :-/

Everything is great, except for two specific needs I have that may be unusual. The headphone jack is too loose, and not deep enough to properly seat my Koss porta-pro headphone plug. That plug may be a little smaller than some, but those are best-selling headphones, practically the standard for medium-priced, wired headphones. Also, FM reception is not good enough, even when the headphones are seated properly. Still, if you don’t use wired headphones or listen to radio, the sound quality, volume is great. The file management and interface with PC laptops is fiddly, but works OK. The device downloaded ~4,000 songs in a few hours, and played them, no “file not found or unplayable” issues. Battery lasts a long time. Bluetooth works with AT headphones, but not with Sangean desktop radio. It’s always hard to tell whether transmitter or receiver is the weak point with that issue,

I wanted a portable MP3 player that would work with a noise-cancelling Bluetooth headphone, that would hold many thousands of MP3 songs. This player does the trick. It is easy to use and has very decent sound quality. It has most of the basic features I need, such as different play modes, and is very compact and solid. The shuffle play mode doesn't seem to be that random, but time will tell if it's going to be an issue or not for me. There are many features beyond the basics, such as equalizer and play speed adjustment, that I will try later, but whether these work well or not really don't matter much right now. I can always use a PC for doing fancy stuff.

I really enjoy this product it is compatible with my Bluetooth earbuds, has great speaker volume, is portable very slim, and came in a decent amount of time. It is easy to set up however I had struggled initially trying to transfer my music from my laptop to my mp3 at first but I did eventually figure it out. I use it to disconnect from my phone more and not have to use it first thing in the morning so the alarm feature on the mp3 is great. The only thing about this product is that if would’ve been a lot better if it came with some kind of protective case because due to it being so slim and small in size I could see it being broken if not careful. In reference it is almost the size of my earbud carrier
