what is the difference between this and the normal rapid wrinkle repair cream? which one is better?

This product is fragrance free, but there are a lot of Neutrogena wrinkle repair products, so we are unsure which you are referring to or trying to compare.

What's the difference between this "pro" version and neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair retinol face moisturizer -- is pro version harsher?

Rapid wrinkle repair has 0.05% pure retinol which is (vitamin A) with no irritation. Pro+ is pretty much the same. I didn't notice any harshness and I use Pro+ and Rapid Wrinkle Repair and I like it. I think different skin will respond in different ways with different results. The best way to know is to try them and see which one works best for you! I hope that helps a little.
