it has worked great for my inground pool. The baskets fit well and the 8" top diameter, 5.5" bottom, and 5" depth matched my skimmer perfectly. Installation was simple, just drop them in and they’re ready to go. They do a really good job of catching leaves, bugs, and other debris before it reaches the pump filter, which helps keep the pool system running more efficiently. The plastic feels sturdy and durable, yet lightweight enough to easily remove and clean when it fills up. I also like that this set comes with two baskets, which is convenient to have a backup or for pools with multiple skimmers. Even though they are not weighted, they still sit securely in place and work exactly as expected.

Thin and cheap, barely worth the price. Expect the thin handles to break in less that a year.

Our pool gets a lot of tree debris in the spring and fall. Unfortunately, these baskets were not sturdy enough to handle the leaves, oak blossom, and flower petals we get this time of year. When the crabapple petals start falling, we need to empty the skimmer baskets 3 or 4 times a day for about a week. These baskets lasted 2 days. The top lip is not as wide as the previous baskets we've used and could not take the load after a windy night - they were sucked down into the skimmer area where the baskets sit (I've never had that happen with my old baskets). After turning off the pool pump to relieve the pressure, they were both stuck down at the bottom of the skimmer area. The picture is after pulling them out using a screwdriver - which mangled the baskets and was a lot of work. The basket on the right also split open, which you can see on the far-right side of the picture. These baskets may work for you if you only need a light-duty basket for a few leaves or bugs, but we need something much more sturdy. I'll be going back to my old more-expensive plastic baskets or Instant-Pot large metal mesh baskets.

These baskets surprisingly last a very short time, given that it is exposed to salt, chlorine, and the like. I've even had one get partially sucked into the skimmer basin. Anyway, since they don't last long, get the cheapest one possible. This version looks as sturdy as the original, which is to say, not very. There are TWO baskets in case that is not clear, so a good value.

It fit in a Waterway skimmer. Don't bother with the handle, I removed the plastic handle which I knew wasn't secured/strong enough and replaced it with twine. Now it's OK.
