PumpSaver Plus 233P-ENCL SymCom Low Yield Water Well Pump Protection MADE IN USA

Well, I don't want this to be true but it is. This little overpriced unit sure did the trick. I recommend getting the 233P over the unit that goes up to 1.5hp motors. The reason is, for very little extra money you get 1/3rd to 3hp motor control. So some day if you decide to go from a 1.5hp to a 2hp motor, you won't need a new maintainer. I have a year-round well that, "WELL" isn't year-round in the middle of a California drought. It's December around a lake, and I'm sucking air. This little guy stopped me and my family from having to run out to the well every time we tried to pump. It was so bad we even had a baby monitor out there to monitor. Hook up for this unit was very simple. Just run the line in from the breaker to this unit. Then L2 line out back to your contactor control box and with a little adjustment your good to go. BIG CON FOR THIS UNIT! The time to restart knob in this unit has no real scale. It goes from 2min to 50, then to 100 then to 160 in what look like to be equal painted increments. But obviously if you do the math, IT'S REALLY STUPID! Trying to set it up for a 2 hour retry is almost impossible. Well, that's the low down, well worth the money to alleviate any concerns about dry-well, etc... FYI- Does work with any, wtf is down there well pump. :)

Product seems very durable and was easy to install.

First one was damaged. Replacement sent no problem. Easy install and it just works. Set it and forget it. Good to have peace of mind.

Looks very good, installed as easily as can be expected for being hard wired in series with a 2 1/2 horsepower pump. Calibration and configuration were very easy. I have yet to give it the acid test and run the pump dry to test it.
