Blocks out night noise and stays in comfortably
I bought these for sleeping as I’m a really light sleeper and get woken up by everything, mainly my teenagers chatting at night and the dogs moving around downstairs. These have really helped with that. I’ve tried foam and wax earplugs before and neither worked for me. Foam never blocked enough and wax just felt uncomfortable and a bit too much in my ears. These sit properly in the ear and block a lot of the noise, including background sounds like movement in the house and general night noise. The fit is really good. They come with different size tips (medium already on) and I switched to small which suited me better. Once they’re in properly they stay put, no falling out during the night like some other brands I’ve tried. I sleep on my side and these don’t dig in because they sit quite flat, which is a big improvement on other earplugs that stick out and get uncomfortable. In terms of noise, I can still hear very loud things if I’m really listening for them, but it takes the edge off everything so I’m not being woken up constantly by the teens or the dogs. That’s what’s made the difference for me – I’m not waking up grumpy anymore. They come with a small case which is handy, especially if you’re taking them away or just don’t want them loose on the bedside. The only thing I’d say is they’re slightly firmer than some of the more expensive brands, but for the price I don’t think it affects how well they work. They’re comfortable and I’m sleeping much better.

Great for light sleepers!
These are the best earplugs I have used for sleeping and I've tried many. I'm not a fan of wax earplugs as I find they create too much pressure in the ear, and normal foam just aren't effective enough. I am a chronically light sleeper and insomniac. I am woken by my neighbour who works early shifts and can also hear a busy nearby motorway; these ear plugs do an amazing job of drowning out all noises and frequencies, including low frequency. They are comfortable and you can get a great fit as different sized buds are provided. They come with medium already on, and there are xs, small, and large in the box. I took a small. The presentation box is neat and sleek, and the earplugs come with their own tiny storage case, great for travelling and also keeping them safe and clean. Changing the buds is a bit fiddly, but just turn them inside out to stick on and they're fine, not a major issue. The earplugs have a flat edge so don't stick out of the ear when inserted correctly. I side sleep and don't even know they are in as they are so comfortable. All in all great value and a great product that works. I bought a second pair they are so good and recommended them to others who have also been pleased with their effectiveness snd design. Superb product and also more eco friendly than other options.

1/4 the price of Loop, nearly as good
I did first look at these before going with the leading brand, and then I've come back to these, so here's my review to help others considering: I've been using Loop Dream (cost me £45) for about a month and they made such a difference to my sleep quality, but then I've managed to lose one of them. Forking out another £45 for a pair when I just need one seemed excessive so I tried these Opeiin ones for less than a quarter of the price. To be honest, the Loop ones are noticeably softer, more flexible, smaller, and so slightly more comfortable, and the Loops have a better-engineered tip that connects the loop bit to the different size earbud bits so you'd never worry about an earbud coming off the loop and getting stuck in your ear. The Opeiin ones are firmer material and slightly larger. In terms of noise blocking I can't tell any difference between the two. With both brands in, I couldn't hear airplane traffic flying overhead or birds outside my window, or car noise outside, which were the main things that would wake me up early in the morning. With the Loop ones I was worried about the whole thing falling out my ear, which would happen multiple times a night when I'd wake up (and then in no time I've lost one). With the Opeiin ones they've stayed firmly in place and I didn't find them uncomfortable to sleep with (on my side). With the Opeiin ones the only worry would be how long the connector bit lasts (that holds the body of the earplug to the changeable earbud part) because it looks to be the same style as what's on my other unrelated brand wireless music earbuds, and a few times I've had it happen where I've pulled the earpiece out and found the bud has come loose and gotten left behind in my ear. Ultimately though, for a quarter of the price, I'd say if you're on a budget or want to replace your Loop Dream, these are a good bet.

Comfortable and good enough for light noise
I’ve been using these mainly for sleep and overall they do the job. They don’t completely block out all noise, so if you’re expecting total silence you might be disappointed. That said, they reduce background sounds enough for me to fall asleep more easily. Things like distant traffic or general household noise are definitely softer. The main plus is comfort. I can sleep on my side without them digging into my ear which was a problem with some other ear plugs I’ve tried. They stay in place through the night and don’t cause soreness in the morning. You also get different sizes for the tips so that’s useful to get the perfect fit you’d need. They’re easy to clean and seem reusable. For the price, I think they’re good value. Not perfect, but comfortable and effective enough for a better night’s sleep. Seems to be durable enough.

Comfortable, but not very effective
They’re very easy to insert and once in they are very very comfortable, probably the most comfortable pair of earplugs I have ever owned. The different sizes available also help a lot, so you can pick the one that fits best and the carry case is a nice addition. However, they’re not really effective at noise cancelling unfortunately. They definitely reduce the noise, but I can still hear pretty much everything to the point that I can have a perfectly normal conversation while wearing them, and I can still hear my snoring husband (main reason I bought them).

Good for side sleepers
I bought these primarily for wearing on occasion for sleep. Previously I was using the foam type disposable ear plugs but found these moved easily or came out as you slept. As a side sleeper it also meant the one on my pillow ear pushed into my ear and was uncomfortable. With these though I have no issues sleeping on my side and they rarely come out (but do sometimes need a little press back in if I’ve been particularly wriggly during sleep). They block out most but not all noise, which I think is fine for some safety - phones, fire alarms etc. As they were very comfortable I bought a pair for using at work. I work at an airport and am often outside dealing with noisy aircraft engines. During the winter when wearing a hat our ear defenders don’t make a good seal and let in an uncomfortable amount of noise. I can wear these under my hat and they are as effective as aviation grade ear defenders. I was initially attracted by the price as didn’t want to spend far more on established brands like Loop, and although I have nothing to compare with I can’t see Loop being any better than these so might as well save your money and get these instead.

Great for cancelling loud noises
I love these. My husband is quite a snorer and I am light sleeper. These were a life saver for me. These don’t block the noise completely but just enough not to disturb my sleep. I sleep with them every single night and it has been great. Been to noisy hotels and these worked great there too. They are comfortable to wear and don’t stick out so you can sleep on your side if you want to. Great for those who bothered by loud noises. Now bought the pair for my son as well.

Comfortable but not as effective as hoped.
These earplugs are very comfortable - they were able to be worn in both ears when sleeping, and stay in place well. The travel case is also useful and protects them well. However, the sound reduction isn't as strong as suggested by other reviewers in my personal opinion. Although they do reduce some noise, they are not strong enough to cut out louder noises such as traffic. The noise reduction is minimal, although this may differ for each individual.

Does the Job
Work in live events and theater, so not great for your hearing it you're exposed to loud music and noise day in day out. These ear plugs are effective in damping out the noise, yet at the same time you're still able to hear people give commands at close range. They're also small and unintrusive, unlike the foam ear plugs. Happy out with these.
