This a gift & i have no way to view the info cd. as i didn't buy this kit, i have no "order page" to message for the pdf guide. what's the email?!

I would ask the person you got the gift from to possibly download it for you or send you the order info so you can look it up. Also, some products offer free online pdf guides. I found several this way by typing in the name of the product/item I am looking for a guide for. Hope this information was helpful.

Lesson 3, using a button to turn on an led, is not working. i've redone the breadboard several times, tried different spots on the main board. help.

Have you tried the led to make sure that it is working? Maybe the breadboard is defective. or the switch could be defective. If it were me. I would check the led and use a different breadboard and then go from there. I hope this helps.
