Ronson Medical Premium Fluoride Scissors 5.5 in. Set Of 2

These scissors are much sharper than my old nursing shears. They get the job done and I like he petite size because it fits in my pocket better. The cool black color makes it easier to recognize and will hopefully prevent theft.

Good scissors. Good small size not too annoying to have in my pocket. The black color fits well with my dress code at work. A spare pair in case loss or stolen or just to use with camping and home.

these are great! The two pack is only a couple bucks more than just buying one so this way you have a spare. Much nicer than the slightly cheaper pair I lent out were never returned. The distinctive dark metal makes these stand out and much easier to get back from pesky co-workers. They can't pretend one of these is theirs! One review compares them to the Leatherman Raptor scissors which really shows how great these are that they compare at all with the $60 Raptors. For sixty bucks you can get five sets of two so ten scissors. Great deal for the price and work well.

Good solid construction.

These shears are excellent. They look good with the black fluoride coating, and it seems to work pretty well at keeping the blades clean. I've occasionally used them to cut fiberglass for making a cast (obviously before it hardened), and that residue sticks to the blades and will harden if you don't clean them off immediately. They cut extremely well, however, and it's nice to have 2 so I have a backup if something happens to one of them (these replaced my last pair which disappeared after I set them down for a minute in the ER).My only complaint is the small size. These are smaller than standard trauma shears only (5.5 inches instead of 7.5), and they're a bit small for my hands, and I don't have really big hands. They work for me, and it's something I can deal with, but I buy will be the larger size when these wear out or disappear.

These are a great quality bandage scissor or trauma sheer. Very high quality. I was impressed with the price. I will definitely buy these again as my coworkers will probably steal these from me.

These are hands down my favorite scissors. If I have to cut away thick bandaging, gowns, cut tubing - pretty much whatever - these scissors are the bomb. They just work better and have a better "feel" than plain steel scissors. This size is very handy because it fits nicely on the equipment rings or in the little divided cargo pockets of my scrubs. I never walk out the door to work without them.

These scissors are perfect for my job in the hospital!
