Install trick - great cross bars
Great value and works great once I figured out how to adjust and install. 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The instructions are ok, but donโt mention that the outer bolt should be loosened significantly, and then pushed firmly down to pop the bracket down enough to attach to the rail tracks. The inner bolt does not need to be as loose for install.

Nice Simple Roof Bars, But Not Anti-Theft
I got these to go on my 2018 Jeep WK2 Limited. I really like them overall and think that they look pretty good for a set of roof bars. The install wasn't bad, though a little aggravating at times, but nothing to really complain about. They seem plenty sturdy enough for just a set of basic roof bars. Considering that the factory roof rails on a WK2 aren't that great and can't hold very much because of how they are mounted, then these cross bars will definitely support everything the roof rails are capable of. The only complaint that I have is that Nilight advertises them as anti theft when they are absolutely not in any way whatsoever! The locks in the end caps are 100% completely useless and for looks. You can literally throw away the 4 keys they give you because the locks do absolutely nothing. You do not have to unlock or remove them in anyway for install or removal of the cross bars. All you need to, install, remove, or steal these cross bars is an allen wrench. The actual aluminum cross rails on this set are the same cross rails used on all of their cross bars for all different vehicles and all they do is swap out the mounting bracket accordingly. Therefore my theory is that they probably do work on some other set for some other vehicle. However instead of making a whole new plain nonlockable end cap for these, they just used the lockable ones that they already have, try to pass them off as being lockable anti-theft and save manufacturing cost. Which I could completely understand if they would just explain that and not try to pass them off as anti-theft when they absolutely are not. I find that to be quite lowly and deceptive, and therefore deducted a star for that reason. I'm actually quite shocked and disappointed in Nilight because I've gotten several products from them and find them to usually be a good reputable company. Other than the deceptive claim and sells tactic, I really do like these cross bars overall. They do look good, are well made, and fit nicely. I would still recommend them as plain nonlockable cross bars.

They look great, but have significant wind noise.
These roof racks are built reasonably well and look good installed. Installation was easy and only took a few minutes. I was fairly happy with them until my first drive at highway speeds. There is a LOT of wind noise generated from these roof racks -- so much that I had to double check that I had installed them the correct way (I did). I would give four stars for overall looks and build quality, but have to take an additional star for the loud wind noise. If you don't mind a little noise then these may be a good budget option. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere.

Not Perfect but Works Well
I got these for my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and am pretty happy with the quality. They feel solidly attached to the vehicle, and I didn't notice any real appreciable difference in noise, even at high speeds. I would feel comfortable using these to transport anything within their 150 pound max capacity. That said, there are some minor issues, including a rubber strip at top that doesn't fit exactly right and locking end caps that don't really seem to do anything. Overall, I can't complain. I will most likely remove these for daily driving, but am very happy to have them when traveling or picking up larger items from the home improvement store.
