I guess I would say you get what you pay for with this hat. I used it for a minion costume and it was pretty much the same color, but a brighter/stronger yellow than it seems in the picture. It was tight on me and I am an adult woman with an average sized head. I think it would be better for a child probably. But the quality of the hat was as good or better than you would expect of any basic, cheap beanie, so I would recommend it for that reason.

I bought this hat for my daughters minion costume. It ended up matching my shirt better and the hat I purchased for myself matched hers better. Great hat- it would have fit my 3 year old and myself at 31.

After looking at several yellow hats on Amazon, I ordered this for my daughter's Minion costume, hoping it was the right color, since you never know till you see it in person. I was very relieved to find that it is indeed the perfect Minion yellow! The shipping was quick and the cheap price made the small shipping fee worth it (less than the price of some of the other hats without shipping). I bought this for my 10 year old daughter. Well made, soft, and fit well. It also fits me well. You can cuff it up as much or little as you like.
