Graco SlimFit3 LX 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat, Kunningham

I have used this brand and model for several years. I fit three across my middle seat and feel confident the kids are safe and comfortable. We were in an accident and the kids barely budged. The price is great and it's adjustable as they grow. Simple install clips.

Perfect fit for a Mustang — slim, secure and easy to install I bought the Graco SlimFit3 LX specifically for my new Mustang because the rear seats are narrow and heavily sculpted, making car-seat fit a challenge. I had another convertible car seat that simply didn’t fit the rear bucket well. The SlimFit3 LX fits perfectly. It’s noticeably narrower, sits very well in the Mustang’s rear seat, and once installed feels extremely secure. Assembly and installation were also straightforward. It’s probably not the most plush or luxurious car seat on the market, but for the price I’m very happy with the quality and practicality. I needed something compact that would fit properly without compromising a secure installation, and this seat delivered exactly that. If you’re looking for a slim car seat for a 2024+ Ford Mustang (S650), this is definitely one I’d recommend.

My toddlers find them comfortable, and they do in fact fit 3 across! They are easy to adjust and can be used for a long time.

The last time I bought a Graco convertible car seat was 2020. My younger son still uses his. Usually when companies upgrade products they add a bunch of unnecessary crap that no one asked for but with this everything was done with intention. The built in storage, the cup holder design, and the slim width. I’ve never been this excited about a product since my Dyson vacuum. Seriously, I hope the team behind this got a bonus or something. I have a Honda CR-V and I am able to fit 3 seats across because of how slim this seat is.

This truly fits 3 across and is easy to install and adjust. Would recommend but it is a bit pricey

Graco overall is my favorite brand of car seat. I drive a 2020 Toyota rav4 and needed to purchase 2 of these for my older children to be able to safely fit my graco infant seat in the back with them. They are not very heavy, very easy to assemble and install. One is for my 4 year old who forward faces and he is very comfortable in it. The second is my 1 year old who rear faces and they fit both aged children perfectly. I will be purchasing a third when my infant outgrows the infant seat.

I needed to fit three car seats across in our RAV4 with a new baby arriving. The baby will use an infant seat, and this one is for our older child. We’d like a bigger car eventually, but for now we’re trying to avoid a car payment for a year or two. I was mainly considering this and the Diono Radian 3RXT for a three-across setup, and I went with the Graco because it was on sale. It seems well made and solid overall. I’m not entirely sure why it’s more expensive than Graco’s other slim model, but if you need to make three-across work in a smaller vehicle, this one does the job.

This seat is great for three across or other narrow seating arrangements, and my 5yo says it’s comfortable. This past weekend, the seat dealt with its first stomach bug and subsequent maiden voyage through the wash. As someone who’s had to wash multiple car seat covers, this one is *chef’s kiss.* It’s so easy to remove and replace, and it has exactly zero stupid little hooks that are only accessible if your fingers are roughly the same size as a Barbie’s. I’ve only installed it front facing, but that was extremely easy and intuitive as well. I love getting a tight install on the first try, and the extra cost for the peace of mind is worth it in my opinion. Tl;dr it’s safe, secure, easy to install, and easy to wash. If my middle kiddo turns front facing before my oldest outgrows this seat, I won’t hesitate to purchase a second one.
