Rhode Island Novelty 1 Dozen 7 Inch - 13 Inch Dress Up Foam Animal Masks

These masks are adorable. They are too tight for adults but they are just right for kids between 2 and 8 y.o. Their foam construction makes them very soft so that kids do not feel that uncomfortable cardboard-mask kind of feeling. My younger son fell in love with the black cat mask and my older kept the elephant one. They both decided I should wear the girafe (which, to be honest, is certainly not the one I would have chosen). As many other reviewers have mentioned, they are not durable (I plan on using them for a few birthday parties but it will not last years and years of daily use). The hole where the elastic attaches is the first place I believe will fail over time as the hole will grow bigger. Having said that, the simplicity of elastic-in-a-hole attachment allowed us to modify a few of those masks. While they are all attached with an elastic inside out, making the mask follow the shape of the head, changing a few, such as the elephant, the lion and the mouse to an outside-in attachment makes the outer part of those masks stand out more. The ears can protrude and the shape of the animal is more visible. Overall, great party masks at a great price. Thanks

Bought these masks juts for my two year old to play with! She likes to act like the animals and these masks really bring it out the characters! Some masks are better looking than others! If pulled too hard the string will pop out, but its easy to put back in and keep playing! Some fit me and some fit my daughter ! So circumference size is a little different for each, mostly staying toward toddler head size ! Colorful and fun! Very thin material but thick so the mask won't tear! Bought these for a "masked" event - we only needed 2, and it was nice to pop the extras in my purse for people who forgot their masks. PROS: The cost The variety - you actually get 12 *different* masks - unlike a lot of the other listings on Amazon (where you'll get 3 or 4 different styles that add up to a total of 12 masks) CONS: *** The elastic rips out of the holes - you'll want to triple-knot the existing knot before trying on, or replace with ribbon (which worked great for us!) Slight defects - indentations on the foam, poor alignment with the glue, etc.

These were perfect for my 7 year olds birthday party. It did come with all 12 assorted masks. I did find another product on Amazon that was a few dollars cheaper but the reviews said it wasn't as pictured and had multiples of only a few animals. This was perfect. They were well constructed for what they were. Vibrant, bright colors. The elastic knots did pull through if the kids were too rough. But I was expecting that. they didn't rip and were easy to put the elastic back through. So added measured could be taken if you need them to last longer than a 1 1/2 hour birthday party. But overall I was thrilled!

The masks are cute and sized appropriately for kids. They are thin foam and not durable. The quality is not high. I had to use a glue gun to reattach pieces that were falling off and use acetone to remove spots of glue (shown in photo of panda mask). Nonetheless, for the price and purpose (kid’s birthday party), these were great, and I would buy them again.

Big hit! I had a group of family kids aged 4-10 that only get together a couple of times a year. I wanted them to be at ease and have fun so we gave these to the children as soon as they arrived. Everyone had a laugh and we had a festive mood right away. Very inexpensive, terrific value and quality is better than I expected. If I wanted to repeat the experience I would not hesitate to buy them again and I wholeheartedly recommend these masks.

I’m just writing my review because we just got the opportunity to use our masks. We never opened ours until last night and discovered they ALL had the elastic strings tied in backwards. That meant instead of them going behind your head, they would go in front and the tail that was tied in the elastic was in back. Several had ears, etc that had fallen off. They were cute.. but I had to take the elastic out of all of them and re do them all.

We bought these for using during "dress-up" time with our daughter (2.5 years old). She doesn't really like to wear costumes/dresses, but she does like these masks! She likes to make the sound of the animal she is wearing, and she likes trying to put them on our (incredibly patient) dog. The materials are a bit cheap, although at this price point, they were actually nicer than I expected-soft and flexible for little faces. A major plus for me is that there is NO strange plastic/cheap material smell. Also, these fit surprisingly well on both young and old. One problem we have experienced is that the elastic occasionally pulls through a hole and needs to be restrung and knotted. My daughter whines a bit when it happens, but it's not a big deal to fix it.
