Ive put together my share of legos and I gotta admit, this one is not for beginners. Moderate skill at best. Ive seen few like it. Every gear moves on its own, it has a real operational clock. With the prices of hobby supplies nowadays this is definitely my fallback company when I cant afford the real deal

This took me about 4-5 days to complete, but it was worth it when it was all said and done. The only reason why I didn’t give it five stars was because I was missing 2 pieces.

This is really a cute clock. But it is an absolute nightmare to put together. The instructions are awful. They lack any detail. The pieces don’t fit together properly. The pieces pop off while you are trying to put on other pieces. You truly need great patience to put this together. Plus just in case it doesn’t state. There is an alarm. Mine went off at midnight and took me 15 minutes to figure out how to turn it off The pendulum does not swing on its own. You have to crank it. It is a pretty little clock if you got a whole day to put it together.

This clock turned out so cute. I got it for my 15 year old granddaughter to put together. It probably took her 45 minutes to put together but she is pretty good at things like this. It seems to be good quality. I didn't read the size when I ordered. She thought it would be larger but still it's a decent size. Overall, we're both happy with it.

Although this kit is very pretty and it's kind of fun to turn the crank on the back (most gears have no use but they all turn), it is more difficult and there are errors in the instructions!The instructions for the support for the top of the gold frame around the clock face calls for the wrong pieces! To make matters worse, because of that, I was short 4 of the CORRECT pieces. If you follow the instructions the two top curved pieces of the frame will not connect to the side supports - they are just too far away! I was able to get around the problem by leaving gaps when I needed that exact shape piece to make the piece just above the clock face (includes the fleur de lis). If you look from the top, you can see two little gaps but they are not structural and you almost have to know they are there.I used the stickers for the clock face and the fleur de lis above the clock face but I decided that not only are the stickers very difficult to put on, they make the clock too gaudy! It's gaudy enough with all that gold but the black images on top the gold is just too much for me. At least the extra "bling" is optional in that you can choose not to use the stickers.It looks great, works, but is somewhat fragile.
