For the very reasonable cost, this laptop is great!! I would buy it again

I was a little concerned about ordering this computer because several reviews noted that no computer arrived, only empty boxes. However, I believe this is due to unscrupulous people at the shipping company. Mine was shipped by FedEx. It arrived on time and in perfect shape. The computer is well packaged. The computer and its charger were in plastic. The Lenovo box was sealed and new. That box was inside another undamaged shipping box. There was a thin, soft shield between the keyboard and the screen for protection. I opened the computer and it turned itself on. Right now it is charging and not in use. I expect it will be a great computer.

Very Basic, but it does all that I need in a laptop. I upgraded from a Chromebook and I no longer bounce against a lack of memory.

I have to be honest and hopefully you won't need to go through the frustrations my friend an I had with this computer. I would not give even one star. I had problems from the beginning, I thought It was me that didn't set up it properly, even basic functions it had hard time performing it. However my friend that recommended me this computer and bought it on the same day was having the same problems. Very slow to respond, the app he thought would improve its efficiency didn't work, same for me. He called Lenovo and they said this particular computer came from Nigeria and he would have to call their Customer Service in Nigeria to get some help and American apps might not work properly. The third party that sold us the computer through Amazon, their customer service wasn't much help. They told me that I would need to send the computer back for them to take a look and see what was wrong with it. In the meantime, I would be without a computer. After my experience I didn't want the computer, just wanted my money back. They denied me the refund. Fortunately, Amazon Customer Service came to our rescue.

The computer is slim and fast. It is effective in doing what you need it to do.

This is an old model is the idea pad series 1, it’s been modified, just got mine in the mail today, packaging was opened inside the shipping box, screws have been tampered with and it’s original price is not 1400 dollars. This listing fails to provide the model number or type of Lenovo laptop. It’s priced cheaper than what you’re buying it for here on Amazon at Walmart.

Exactly what I was looking for

This computer is seriously underpowered to run Windows 11. If you need a backup computer, just want to surf the internet, or plan to install Linux, this might be a suitable choice. Just don't ask it to do too many tasks, or it will start locking up.
