This stuff works great! I was put on Metformin and it barely reduced my resting blood sugar levels. The morning after I started the Gymnema I noticed a significant reduction. I’ve been doing it for nearly a month and I’m getting readings that are nearly normal and out of the danger zone. I’m very happy with these results.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCEI have used gymnema itself for almost a year now and it has helped my blood sugar levels. I’m not sure if this is related, but I seem less “hangry” these days, much to the delight of the people around me. Although the previous brand worked well, the cost adds up over time. I use other BulkSupplement products and have been very satisfied with the quality and effectiveness, so I decided to give this a try.PRODUCT REVIEWI cannot speak to the taste since I put them in pill form using a capsule machine. Gymnema is naturally dark, which can get a little messy with the machine, but nothing some soap and water can’t remove. And the savings is well worth it. I gradually increased the dose to the recommended amount and did not have any issues or side effects, other than a decrease in appetite. Gymnema is supposed to curb appetite so this would be expected. However, I did not experience it with the other brand and therefore, was surprised when it happened. I only notice this effect while taking the recommended dose. Other than that, I have not noticed anything “different,” which indicates to me it is “working.” Otherwise, my symptoms would return. It has only been a week, however, so I will continue to monitor, and update this review if need be.ASSESSMENTEffective as my previous brand, with the added benefit of a decrease in appetite. Probably not enough for me to experience weight loss benefits, but enough to help maintain my weight. The taste is horrible but the product was good quality

This is an update of my initial review. I have since purchased 000 capsules and a capsule machine that enables me to make 100 capsules at a time each containg 3 grams of the raw herb. I take 3 grams per meal and am looking forward to my next A1C measurement. This product was strongly recommended by my naturopath as the most potent among other good but less efficacious supplements. For now I feel better and have more energy. Also with the encapsulation I've eliminated the bad taste.This product is of the highest quality. I know this because of previous experience with quality Gymnema. One characteristic is that this product in it's purest form tastes horrible. It is not only an appetite suppressant; it is also one of the better known long term cures for type two diabetes. It should be taken along with other herbals over a period of two years or so.I received this product as a sample for being a good customer. However, my review has not been influenced by that fact.

I chose this brand because I’ve used them before and they usually get pretty good ratings in online reviews. I chose this product to help reduce sugar cravings however I’ve taken it three time and two of the three times it’s caused me to vomit. Minus two stars taken off for the unwanted cleansing affect.

This did help somewhat curb my sugar cravings. I tend to crave sugar in the evenings. After taking this supplement, it kinda leaves a weird taste in your mouth if you eat anything, so it helps me not to want anything else for quite a while.

I am very familiar with herbs for medicine and powders, a good brand.This appears to be very good quality, its a very fine powder, very dark color, and strong smell.This is a very powerful medicinal herb, use with caution.I used 1/4 th tsp in a 1/2 cup smoothie.Within 10 minutes it made me very nauseous and got sick.It's going to be awhile before I try it again.

Powerful taste, even juice does not cover up. Looking forward to having blood work done in a month to see my glucose levels.
