For those who are looking for the pure live resin look no further, this is it. I i’m not the type to put anything in my body to experiment. After extensive research and looking at the world market when it comes to Shiljat and it’s business and marketing, this is probably the most pure and most refined in terms of its purity short of going to the Himalayas and collecting it yourself. I took half a gram and it took three days for it to really kick in in terms of its ability to give me the clarity of the mind, by the end of the week I could feel the energy to complete my tasks with precision concentration. I would wake up fresh and without any fogginess. Without any lingering tiredness or want to sleep more. When I went to sleep I slept well without any interruptions. It did make me drink a lot of water and I felt that it flushed my system pretty clean. I had plantar fasciitis which disappeared by the end of the week. I was able to walk free of any sharp shooting pain in my feet. Bowel movements became regular with good consistency. I could definitely tell you it improved my physical stamina and endurance with all types of tasks:)) After a couple of weeks I started to titrate the dose and I split 1 mg twice a twice daily. This was perfect for me… Again it may vary fom person to person. One thing that really needs to be looked at is make sure you don’t use tapwater which has chlorine or fluoride in it. Because this contains fluvic acid and chlorine will denature it. Preferred to use either distilled water or filtered water that will take the chlorine out and the floor light out. Bottom line enhances your stamina and many activities, enhances your concentration and ability to complete tasks effectively, you will lose some water weight and will feel light, you will see thatBlemishes and scars will heal quickly,, also generalized aches and pains will disappear. I looked at the Purblack advertisement and reviews on Amazon for months before I decided to take the leap and spend $89(!). In the meantime I tried several other brands, another resin from Amazon that cost I think $49--but it was not the Lotus brand, I honestly don't remember what brand it was, as I finally threw it away because it made me sick as a dog--felt like my liver was going to give up the ghost. So that was no good. Then I tried Ojio's powder-that is good and is very calming. I also tried Sunfoods brand recently, which gave me a headache. Many health aficionados will insist my headache was probably just a Herxheimer detoxification reaction, but I don't think so--I think it was just a splitting headache. Something was wrong. Then I tried Swanson's capsules (bought from Swanson directly)--nothing. Finally, with some trepidation but encouraged by the wonderful reviews, I bought Purblack. WOW!!! Really, really excellent. I feel so much better. Calm, very supportive of mood, sleep (which has been a terrific problem my whole life) is very improved. And even though I still occasionally awaken at night, I do feel better throughout the day and can keep going without feeling I will drop. I am 65, and I notice that the post-menopausal symptoms that often occur for women are no longer there (very happy-read between the lines). I do find that Purblack greatly magnifies the effect of any other supplement you are taking, so be careful. What was right for you before may be way too much with Purblack; in fact, I found I no longer need or want any other supplement, the purblack is more than sufficient. I am still taking 1 food-source multi, plus 2 huperzine A (for memory, as my Dad died from Alzheimer's) tablets every day, and a few micrograms of lithium, and these don't seem to interfere. One 5-mg tablet of lithium is way too much now, however, I don't need it. And, although I love rhodiola, I can't take it now as it is too strong with the Purblack, and anyway the Purblack seems to be at least as effective for all the parameters rhodiola rosea works for. Before Purblack I was also taking 1-2 over-the-counter thyroid complex capsules, consisting of thyroid gland, adrenal, etc., which was quite effective in counteracting the absolute hit-a-wall exhaustion I was feeling in the late afternoon. I don't need it now-Purblack is even more effective than that. I've been taking purblack for a month now, started out a tiny bit in the morning once a day, now I usually take it twice a day, the second time right before bed. It does not interfere with my sleep. I have suffered from duodenal ulcers periodically in my life, and the ulcer broke out again 2 months ago after some really bad news about a family member. For the ulcer pain, I do find that Ojio's powdered shilajit works better, about 1/2 tsp of the powder helps to subdue the pain and other symptoms. I really do like the Ojio powder and feel it is good, but I must say that the Purblack is GREAT. I also have to admit that I am still experimenting, and have ordered several different brands of Russian mumijo which I will also cautiously try. I will update this review when I have received the other mumijo/shilajit resins. I do find it almost inconceivable that anything could be as good as Purblack, however. ADDITION AS OF 03/24/2015: I did buy several different kinds of mumijo/shilajit resin that are "manufactured" (that is, cleaned) in Russia and made a video of it. Unfortunately, once I had finished the video I found it was too long to upload to Amazon. I was skeptical when I first began to research the claims made regarding shilajit and it’s effectiveness, but not anymore. I have an autoimmune disorder that basically makes my body attack itself. I hate taking so many synthetic and chemically based medicines so I started to look in to alternatives. That was when I stumbled across shilajit and Purblack. I have tried many other natural remedies in an effort to decrease my dependence on prescription meds and help treat my disease. Not one has had the effect on my body and mind that Purblack has. I started taking it about six weeks ago and is hard to express how thrilled I am that I decided to try Purblack. It’s benefits have been noticeable and numerous. I began taking Purblack about 6 weeks ago. I would describe the flavor as sort of smoky and earthy. I mix it only with distilled water to insure that it is not degraded by any of the chemicals found in tap water. For the first three to four days, I didn’t really notice a difference in my body or energy level. On the fifth day, everything changed. About 45 minutes after drinking it I had a significant and sustained increase in energy. It wasn’t the same jittery energy that I get with several cups of coffee and I didn’t experience a sudden crash that sometimes comes with the products intended to give you energy. I felt good all day long. I also noticed increased mental clarity, focus and faster processing. About two weeks in, I began to notice that my joints were less stiff and swollen and I was able to increase my activity level without increased swelling or pain. I have actually started working out again in the past two weeks. Something I have not been able to do for several years. I’m sleeping better and even my skin looks and feels better. I just ordered my second jar. I'm giving a 4 star rating because it's difficult to spoon-out and measure; it's literally like working with caulk. If this stuff came in a blister pack with precise quantities per dose, I would give it 5 stars. However, I do give 5 stars for the way it makes me feel. First, a description. To me, Purblack Shilajit smells like a new tire, and taste about what you would imaging a new tire would taste like if you ate or drank a little of it. However, mix it with 2-8oz's of warm honey-water, and the taste is completely neutralized. After several days, I acquired a taste for it and skipped the honey. I also tried eating it off the spoon and letting it dissolve in my mouth. This was ok. It stuck to the back of my top-front teeth but dissolved in about 3-5 minutes. I didn't feel the "elation" feeling as described, but I did feel better and more clear-headed. Sleep was much much better, as described. Usually I wake up at least once around 3am to pee, but it seems with Shilajit I was able to sleep through the night... and I noticed, in the morning when I did pee, it was much less than usual. I also take Cissus, and this has helped my sleep too. I felt better in the afternoon around 3pm, and in the evening around dinner time, but it was usually after an additional dose. So I was taking about 3 doses a day to keep my energy up. And sometimes my doses were larger than recommend, so my first jar only lasted about 2 weeks. However, I hope the better I feel, and the cleaner I eat, the less shilajit I will need each day. As described by others, I felt better after a work-out (weights or cardio). I take it immediately before my work-out, or sometimes immediately after. I have osteoarthritis in my neck; the type of arthritis due to sports injures, and I did notice less inflammation. I was able to roll my neck around, look up, down, and rotate my head side-to-side a lot easier than usually. I got some really nice cracks and snaps as the scar tissue adhesions (google it) released and broke-up. The more I was able to break-up these adhesions, instantly, the more relaxed my neck muscles became which allowed normal blood flow into my sinuses and eyes. So, instantly, my sinuses open up and allow me to breath like I had just sprayed Afrin up my nose. Cissus also helps tremendously with inflammation, which I take twice a day. It seems the Shilajit may have synergized (worked together) with the Cissus. From time-to-time I take Valium to relax the muscles in my neck. If my neck muscles get too tight, blood flow is restricted to my sinuses and eyes. I eventually can't breath through my nose, and I get annoying pressure behind and/or around one or both of my eyes. Eventually, If I don't find a way to relax the muscles in my neck I will get I migraine headache. From what I understand, taking any pharmaceutical drug, especially aspirin, damages cell mitochondria (google it) which literally sucks the energy and life out of you and causes you to age and become old and decrepit. I also understand Valium reduces serotonin levels, so I really only take Valium if I'm in a real bind. However, as reported by others taking pharmaceuticals, I noticed after taking Valium, I didn't feel the "Valium hang-over," as I call it: moody, sluggish, brain-fog. Shilajit seemed to save me from these side effects. Just to note, I only take 2-3mg of Valium at a time. I break-up a 5mg tab which, from what I understand, is the minimum dose. I also take 5-10mg of Adderall once or twice a week if necessary. Usually I feel the "Adderall hang-over" 4-5 hours after the it wears-off: moody, tired and mean. But, Shilajit seemed to have saved me from these side effects. If I had not read about how Shilajit helps pharmaceutical drugs work better, and/or helps with drug side-effects, I may not have associated these benefits. I don't really know if it helped with libido because I'm already taking a blend of Horney Goat Weed with Maca Prolab Horny Goat Weed 60 Capsules , and I also take a blend of Arginine and Citrulline twice a day for nitric oxide support (google it). The arginine/citrulline blend I use is called Nitrulline which is a VitaminShoppe brand. This blend works great for me. I'm 46 years old, male. Be aware, if you take too much Arginine or Citrulline, it could become a free-radical and cause problems such as depression. I use a blend of L-carnitine with Alpha Lipoic Acid to neutralize Arginine free-radicals, so I can take more and get really good and steady results. If you get depressed from taking too much arginine or citrulline, just stop taking it or reduce the dosage... the depression will go away in 1-3 days. Now that I've run-out of shilajit, I don't feel near as good. I'm craving this stuff because I know it works and helps me feel much better. Yes I would recommend Purblack Shilajit to anyone and everyone. If you've read this far, let me mention... I've learned after 46 years, there is no such thing as one magic bullet, but their are magic bullets, and Shilajit seems to be one. My point is, if you want to feel good, young and healthy, it is my sincere belief, you must get off all pharmaceuticals, or at least use them very sparingly. You must drink purified water and be aware of BPA and other water contaminates such as chlorine and fluoride (google it). You must eat a balanced diet. You must have good sleep, good friends and make it a purpose to have and strive for joy every moment of your life. You must get a little sunshine every day, or supplement with 5000-10,000iu of Vitamin D3 (google it). You must get a blood profile (including hormones profiles) done at least once a year, and correct any problems the natural way, not with pharmaceuticals, as most doctors would have you do. And you must forgive people and shake-off the pain and anger so it doesn't manifest into something worse, like a physical disease, or become regretful words or actions. I also believe in colon detox and health. After years of struggling with debilitating osteoarthritis in my neck, I believe it is simply a symptom of an auto-immune disorder. My goal is to stop the auto-immune response by detoxing my body, eating clean, and using healing herbs and food like Shilajit. Great Product

This is a very high quality product - undeniably. The effects kick in by the very first dose and the gentle nudge of positive energy lasts all day. Apart from this I observed that by the 3rd dose/day I was sleeping much better and waking up refreshed(before the alarm). This is like the sleep quality we enjoyed as healthy teenagers.(I am 38) I congratulate Adaptive Energy for bringing out this product and will write about additional changes or experiences of sustained use of Purblack.

Tastes awful..but it makes me feel full of energy

I initially approached this shilajit brand with a degree of skepticism, especially regarding their claim of an exclusive and effective purification process that eliminates heavy metals and impurities. However, my personal experience has convincingly changed my perspective. Upon using this product, it became evident that it truly stands out in terms of purity. My usual method of testing involves a very specific approach: I pour the shilajit into a glass and drink it cautiously, ensuring not to agitate the liquid too much. With other brands, particularly some I’ve purchased from Amazon and even the high-end variety from Harrods, this method consistently reveals small, black dust-like particles settling at the bottom of the glass after drinking. I have been in the IT industry for 20 years, mentally it can be very draining. I've noticed the last couple of years that I have not been feeling myself. So I thought I'd give it a try. I am almost a week in and I have already noticed some changes, the first immediate effect I noticed was that upon taking my PurBlack in the morning I feel much more energised and lucid. Less tired & foggy. I have also interestingly noticed that I am drinking *less* fluids which made me realise I have been drinking far more water than my body needs. It's early in the process but I feel positive about PurBlack being an effective part of my recovery. Just to note I was about to buy almost $150 in various other supplements for adrenal fatigue before I came across PurBlack, many of them containing basic supplements I already had (B&C etc.). While this does seem like a lot to spend on a single product, it's actually not. Before this I would drink other fulvic/humic acid alkaline (black water) products every week. Minus the positive savings of not needing additional supplements, PurBlack works out to be a fraction of the price of continuing to take these black waters, plus I get the added benefits and quality of PurBlack. Also want to mention that I had a minor mix-up with my product when originally ordered. I wrote a note to PurBlack support and heard back from them almost immediately willing to fix the error. Support like this is really rare these days, I seldom expect anyone to get back to me at all anymore, let alone multiple times with a few day span. Because I've only used the product for a week I can only give it 4 stars, however the support easily bumps this up to a full 5. Will report back in a month to update.
