Florida Review
I was skeptical about purchasing the Anker EverFrost 2, but so far my concerns appear to be unfounded. What initially attracted me to electric coolers was the idea of not needing ice, never dealing with soggy sandwiches again, having a potential backup solution during hurricane season, and, if I’m being honest, my fascination with cool gadgets. Before buying the EverFrost 2, I purchased a more budget-friendly electric cooler. It quickly became clear that it didn’t meet my needs. My biggest complaint was that it relied on an external power source, such as a Jackery Power Station, to be truly useful. It couldn’t hold a charge on its own, which defeated the purpose for me. It also struggled in direct heat. While searching for something better, I came across this cooler. The challenge was that I couldn’t find much information about how it performed in the types of situations I planned to use it for. Most reviews focused on specs or how many water bottles it could hold. The marketing claims that it can “last for days on a single battery” sounded too good to be true. Spoiler alert: in my experience, that claim is a bit optimistic depending on how you use it. My Intended Uses * Beach trips * Track meets * Hurricane preparedness * Patio gatherings and outdoor events * Weekend grocery runs My Real-World Results To test the battery, I took the cooler to work and left it in my truck. I left home at 6:30 a.m. and arrived at work at 7:30 a.m. At that point, the battery was at 92%. My truck was parked outside in direct sunlight, although the cooler itself was shaded in the back seat. When I left work at 4:00 p.m., with outside temperatures in the 90s, the battery was still at 82%. Using the 12-volt cigarette charger during my drive home brought the battery back up to 92% by the time I arrived. Over the following days, I also left the cooler in the bed of my truck in direct sunlight. After four hours, the battery still had 80% or more remaining. Because of its height, I wouldn’t be able to use a hard top bed cover which is unfortunate from a security standpoint to hide the cooler. That being said, I ran a chain and lock through the handle to some hooks on my truck. I wouldn’t leave it overnight, but plenty secure for food stops and things of that nature. Most recently, I used it for a grocery run. It held a surprisingly large amount of food, and with a little more organization, I could have fit even more. Overall Impression Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. While the “lasts for days” claim may not reflect real-world use in hot weather, the battery performance has exceeded my expectations. For me, I want something that can last around 8 hours in the Florida sun without being plugged in or requiring an external power source (power station or solar panels). More importantly, it has performed well in exactly the situations I bought it for. I’m confident it will do a great job on my next beach trip and during hurricane season. If you are looking for an electric cooler for practical, everyday use, not just for holding drinks, the EverFrost 2 could be the cooler fit you. So far, it is for me. It is heavy, so keep that in mind. If I continue to enjoy this one as much as I have been, I might have try the larger version down the road.

Fits Tesla Model Y Juniper, replaces my smaller electric cooler
This review is for the Solix Everfrost 2 cooler. Cools reasonably fast, nice app. A lot more space than the 20L it is replacing. We use ours for Costco runs where we may not get home for hours afterwards. I do hear it running but it isn’t loud or obnoxious. The hatch closes just fine on my Tesla Model Y Juniper, and I use the wheel chocks with some velcro tape to keep it from sliding around This is heavy so i won’t be taking it out often but it comes with a battery that is easily removable and can be charged independently. So far, I would recommend. I do wish I could turn it off from the app, otherwise the bluetooth + wifi connected app is great. Build is premium quality.

So far so good
So far so good. Still need to test the freezer for a longer duration than just an hour. But it definitely is a great ice saver making traveling and going to the store a much better experience. I live in the desert and it’s becoming a life saver

Be careful.
Good while it lasted. Just had the breaker pop on the circuit that was charging it in the garage - lucky it did. Charge unit was smoking and hot. Guessing that something is defective. Update charger still works but seems to run hot. I know of others that have notice the same issue with the charger seeming to run hot (not just warm). Design defect or manufacturing issue?

Cool Quiet running's
So far with only one use, I can't complain about this purchase. Cools quickly is very quiet, and holds a lot.

I bought it as a cooler, but am using as my R/V refrigerator!!
I absolutely love this refrigerator. It gives all of the convenience of a cooler, but more. I got it at the tail end of the summer, and used it quite a bit. I didn't find the battery life to be nearly as much as they advertised. It says 52 hours on a single charge. I never let the battery run all the way down, but I never got a full 2 days out of it. That said, I had it out in hot weather. I imagine if you had it indoors or in a camper or tent, the battery may last longer. There is also the fact that I was getting drinks out of it regularly. So, if you let it sit, and didn't open it, 52 hours may be real. It rolls well and isn't all that heavy. I like the extra little shelf it can provide. I have used that a number of times to make a sandwich or hold a plate. I love that it also has a 110 plug, and 12 volt. I plan to use this as a refrigerator in my camper van. As for the value, I started looking into fridges for R/V and they are much more expensive and don't offer the versatility this does. So, I would say this wins in the value department. The only difference there is this is not an upright fridge with shelves. So, if you are looking for interior shelves, this is not the solution. It's not too noisy either. It will kick on throughout the night and will hum. Overall, I have had zero issues with it. For me, it is the perfect solution.

Works better as a home mini fridge
After a few camping trips the cooler doesnt get as cold as it use to. Battery will drain fast if temp is set bellow 35degree last about 12hrs. My ice cream was more like a milk shake even keeping it at the bottom of the freezer, with minimum opening and closing the lid,set temp to 25degree. cooler was in the shade and breeze conditions mid 70

L’application mobile simplifie l’utilisation. Top Anker

Love it!
Love it!!!! Works well. Haven’t done a deep freeze yet but I set it for cold drinks (2 deg C) and once cooled and charged (one 1 battery) it lasted over 50hrs (2+ days). It does take more energy to cool warmer drinks but that’s to be expected. It’s not light, but wheels work great and I expected the weight. It’s basically a super cool mobile fridge!!! Can’t wait to try lower temps and ice cream!!!
