Just as expected
My daughter loves them. She had used rental skates a few times at the rink and always used the "skate mate" (walker on wheels). After getting used to the skates, she was able to skate on her own for the first time. I did tighten the wheels a bit so as to aid the learning process, but still they were comfortable enough for her to improve her independance within the hour. Now the lights dont flash all the time, only with a bit of impact, like a step. That isnt terribly important to me. Too much flashing would be annoying to me. Happy kiddo, happy mamma.
